Christmas we spent at Alex parents house.  Very casual day just spending time together with them and his sisters family.

We also celebrated our big 12 year old girl!  Happy birthday to our sweet, funny, strong, super friendly McKay.  We adore her and glad she's apart of the family.

We got her a phone but we wanted to make it a little more fun than just opening it.  So we sent her on a scavenger hunt.  She really enjoyed it and it was a lot of fun.

Tuesday we headed home!  It was a fabulous trip but we are all ready to be back in our home and our beds. We said our goodbyes!

Enjoyed our last PNW beautiful views.  It was so good for my heart to be home and moving at a slower pace for a little while.

It was a good flight home and we all hoped in bed and slept in the next day.  Then we did our Christmas at home.

Happy kids!
Our kitties were happy to see us!  We missed them.

We had some good weather so we had to get outside and get our bodies moving!  Pickleball fun!

Hazen trying out his new Christmas present.

New Years Eve fun!!! Count down full of fun activities.

Probably my favorite New Years eves. So much fun!

Got to have lunch with another friend this week.  Always nice to get together with friends.

Another week of fun dressing up for gym classes.

More Light the World.
Leaving treats for delivery drivers.  The rest of the week we focused our light the world on being with family in Washington and Oregon.

Wednesday afternoon we headed to the airport to fly into Seattle.  Traveled safely and well.

Thursday we spent with Grandma and Grandpa Peterson.  Made dinner and elephant ears.  Played fun and silly games together.

Just enjoying time together.  Grandpa thought our games were little silly but he was a good sport.
I also got to sneak out and put in a good workout with JoLin and then she took my shopping as a Christmas gift.  So sweet of her!

Friday Alex and I got to play soccer with friends at our old church building.  Man mis that fun group.
Then we just hung out together with friends after playing soccer.

Love all these people!  So nice to see them and miss them often.

Saturday we made the drive over to Portland to visit a couple of my brothers.  We played games, ate and laughed.

Even played an old favorite game from when we grew up... Funny Bones.

Great time was had.
Sunday was Christmas Eve... we went to church at Alex ward he grew up in.  So happy to see the chapel so full.

Then opened our Christmas Eve jammies

Then all played a part in the Peterson Christmas program.  Alex and I sang a song, Clifton played a game, McKay read a meaningful Christmas story, Stanley single manned the performance of the Christmas story narrated but Alex, Hazen read Christmas jokes.
Alex also spent time on his Christmas present to his parents.  A new and improved light fixture over the stairs.
