Settling In

Updates on Clifton -
He loves having his own room.  Now he doesn't have to worry about waking McKay up.  He is my early riser.  So now he can wake up and read books till its seven.  Because I am mean and make them stay in their rooms till 7.
Kind of cute to see when I woke up.

Updates on McKay -
She loves having her room and I enjoy making it girly.  I thought she would be scared to be in her own room but she has done great with this change.

Updates on Stanley -
He is putting words together to make sentences.  he loves to communicate, especially if he asks for something and he gets it.  He lets out a big "YAY!" when we understand what he says and wants.  Its so darn cute!

Alex took Monday and Tuesday off so we could get things put together in the house.  Which was really nice because we are all very done living out of boxes!  Getting the house together meant a lot of stops at the store.
The kids did pretty good being in the store so much.
And then sometimes shopping looked like this ;)  Silly Stanley!

Some fun pictures of things we have been working on.
 Replacing the hideous light fixtures!
Made a ballerina mirror for Miss McKay.  She loves it, as do I!
Kids art wall downstairs.  Now to get going on some art to fill the frames.
Clifton decorating his room.  Boys are so fun!

Some things we love about our house....
Our view.  I call it our Sacred Groves ;)
Our back yard!!!!
The wildlife!
Our deer friends that welcomed us into our home come by almost everyday several times a day.  We tried feeding them, they didn't let us get super close but we did throw them some bread.  Great start to a wonderful friendship.  We even named them because they pretty much are our pets now ;) The mom is Princess and her two babies are Bambi and Faline.
Exploring the trails behind our house.
The beauty is jaw dropping.  We feel very blessed to be surrounded by this beauty.
The kids tested out my jetted tub and were quite pleased.  I am pretty happy with it too.  Now to replace all the gold :)

Saturday we took a break from working on the house to spend the day with family celebrating July/August birthdays.
We met at my sister in laws new home by the lake.  It was so much fun to get together and play with family.  A great day!

Sunday bake day is back now that we are settling in and we couldn't be happier!
Watching the cookies bake.

Moving Day

Updates on Clifton -
Boy he is really struggling.  Maybe he just needs some more structure and I'm hopeful our final move will help and school starting.

Updates on McKay -
I am so excited to say we found someone to coop with for preschool this year.

Updates on Stanley -
He is at such a cute and fun stage.  He sure makes us all laugh.  He loves to make animal sounds and silly faces.  Oh and he is the dirtiest boy I know.  If his outfit only gets changed twice a day, its a good day.
He also rarely sits still...
Unless Clifton asks him to :)

Monday we meet up with family to go to the zoo.
Rebecca was sweet to bring Grandma Peterson up so we could bring her home with us.

The next two days I got to volunteer at our Stakes Activity Day Camp.  This year the theme was Alice in Wonderland.
I had so much fun spending time with the girls and dressing up :)  Thanks so much to Grandma Peterson for coming up and being with our kids so I could go.

Even though I was at AD camp all day we still managed to have fun when I got home.
Haw's wedding reception.

Wednesday we hit up the fair.  Oh how I love the fair.  It was a crazy busy week but I am so glad we fit it in.

Thursday Clifton got to go to work with his Daddy for the first time ever.  It was a very exciting day for him.
And what a day it was!

Friday Alex's work had a BBQ at the lake.
Had to take advantage of their paddle boards.  What a wonderful day to be on the lake.
It was a great work BBQ and we had lots of fun.

Saturday it was time to move to our new house!!!!
So excited for the next set of adventures in our home.
 Packing fun.
 Being so helpful.
We set up their secret room first so they could play while we continued to unpack.  And we all love how it turned out.
These guys were here to welcome us to our new home and we couldn't have been any happier about it.  They are not scared either so we are hopefully to feed them one day.  We love our house and feel so very blessed.  A big shout out to Denyal for watching the kids while we packed and unpacked the truck and for all the men that helped us pack and unpack the truck.  We have awesome friends!
