Monday we decided to take advantage of happy hour deals at Sonic.

Love these crazy kids!

Wednesday play group at our pool.  A friend brought a mermaid tail and McKay loved trying it out.

That night we were able to go to the temple as a youth group.  Always nice to be at the temple!

Thursday was Hazen's birthday party.  We did it Thursday two of his close friends could be there.  Hazen asked for a Super Mario party.  We had a blast setting it up!

The kids had to complete an obstacle course.

So thankful for friends and a fun party!  Hazen had a blast.

Hazen's birthday was Friday!  The kids got in on the decorating too.  Its pretty cute that they wanted to help.

For his day we headed to Burger Lake with the Sager's.  It was so fun I didn't even take a single picture!
The Sager's gave him his favorite present, a motor car and 4 dollar bills.
He wouldn't put it down and even used it as a pillow on our drive home.

Then we HAD to go use his 4$.  We went over to CVS and he got a treat I notably tell him no he can't get.  He was thrilled to pay for it all by himself.

Saturday was Alex's birthday.   He had a meeting for half the day so we started with donuts and then sent him on his way.  We decided to clean the house and mow the lawn while he was gone because having a clean house makes Alex very happy.

Then that night we went out with friends to Top Golf.
This was the only birthday picture he'd let me take!
We love him even if he hate being celebrated!

Silly from this week.  Stanley wanted to do my make up with face paint.

I mean I look good, ha!

Hazen is such a character.  IF he is wearing shoes, they are usually mismatch.

And he insisted on wearing his church sweater vest with no shirt underneath.

And he got himself dressed for the day. Pj's, mismatch tops and bottoms, and shirt backwards and upside down.  Haha just love him!

Tuesday after my dance class I wanted to take the kids on a little trip.  We drove to San Antonio area and visited another cave.  Natural Bridge caverns.

It was a very hot day but felt good down in the cave.  After we got out we needed a nice treat for how well they did in the caves.  Popsicles for the ein.
Then we went to out to eat at one of my favorites.
We went to the hotel and planned to go swimming but had broken something and closed.  I was frustrated and not sure how to keep the kids quiet in a hotel.  So we looked up a splash pad and park close by and found one that was very impressive and a lot of fun.

Turned out to be a great day!

Next day we started our day with Texas waffles from the hotel.

Then drove to Blue Hole park to swim in cool and clear water.

The rope swings were pretty fun nd the water was the clearest water I have seen in Texas and nice and cold.  Stanley thought it was too cold so he didn't have mush fun but decided to spend his time trying to catch a lizard.
It was a nice and quick get away.  Especially nice because Alex was out of town for the week anyway.

Thursday McKay had a recital.  She has been taking singing lessons this summer and was ready to preform the sing she had been working on.  AND she wanted a new dress, she suggested trying on some of mine.  And it fit!!!!  Crazy... she said now its mine and your clothes ;) haha nope still mine but I will share.

She performed so well!

Saturday Alex was home and so we choose an activity out of our adventure book. Geromino Domino!  Made a game plan and set it up.  I didn't think it would work the first time but it did.

the kids loved this activity.  We did it at least 5 more times.

The kids have been doing trying to keep themselves entertained when I am done entertaining them, haha.  They have been super creative with red solo cups lately.
