Monday crafting was air dry clay creations.

This weeks adventure was to Main event for some bowling and laser tag.

Love these crazy kids of mine.
We had to stop to get free slurps for 7/11 day.

Then that night while McKay and Clifton were at ym/yw the younger kids and I headed to the airport to pick up Grandma.  She landed around dinner time so we stopped to enjoy a little picnic.

We are all excited Grandma S is here!  Let the fun begin...

So fun to have her here working out with me.
We rewarded ourselves with out hard work and got ice cream.
Lots of seeing who is talking than Grandma now.

Two kids got her beat.  They are coming for me next!

Then we went to adventure at Children's Aquarium in Dallas.

Lots to explore and lots of fun.
On our way out the kids spotted a fountain and asked if they could run through it.  My first thought was no, but then thought shoot why not.  SO we stopped and that was their favorite part of the day.  Glad I didn't listen to my first thought.  Sometimes the most spontaneous and silly things turn into the best times.

The next day was actaully a planned fountain playing.

Sun Dance square and then Ice cream.

Saturday we headed to Turner Falls which is a place we have been and greatly enjoy.  We decided to go on Saturday so we could have friends join us.  Welp that was a horrible idea.  The weekends are INSANE.  We bought tickets ahead of time but git there and the line to get in was 2 hours!!!! It took us less time to drive there around 1:45 minutes.  It was infuriating, especially cause we were on a time limit.  And the parking was horrible.  Our friends finally got in and by the time we meet up we only got like 30 minutes together.

Although it was a horrible experience trying to get into the park we did make the most of our time at the park and the temperature was not hot which was crazy.  I'm not sure I'll go back again after that but we did try to make the most of the situation.  At one point the kids were playing rock, paper, scissors with cars next to us.

Sunday the older kids had meetings so the younger kids wanted to show Grandma how to use the ice cream ball.
