Spring Break

Updates on Clifton -
He had spring break this week and we played hard.  He somehow still missed school.  He told me he was having fun but kept wondering when he gets to go back to school.

Updates on McKay -
Had a harder week with her brother home but as long as we kept busy they didn't kill each other ;)

Updates on Stanley -
Asthma was acting up again and not sleeping great.  Plus he has a mouth full of teeth poking through at least 6!  Rising early has been his thing this week.

It's a good thing he will cuddle with me in bed until the other kids wake up.

Monday was the first day of spring break so off we went to play.  We got to have Evan with us most of the week and it was so fun to have him with us again.  He sure fits in perfectly!

Then to Pacific Science Center!  We love that place.

Then that night when Alex got home he wanted to do something fun for FHE.

 Bowling!

Yep I still got it... 151 not too shabby.  Almost got a turkey, thanks to the many summers of  bowling camp.

Tuesday was our down day.  We went out to play but just to visit the Bug Museum.

And we got some caterpillars to bring home and watch transform into butterflies.

Wednesday we decided to try a new place.  The Northwest Trek.

 Yep he is peeing...

And yep Clifton thought it was hilarious!  It was a fun day but I prefer the Game Farm instead.

Thursday we went to the zoo.

That night we had a picnic on the Bay because it was just too nice of a day to eat inside.

I love the sunshine, oh and sand and water!

Friday Stanley's asthma was acting up so we stayed close and went on a hike.  But Alex had the day off so it was a happy happy day.

I love days that we all get to play together!

Saturday we went to ride the little trains.

We had a gift card to See Films so we decided to use it to go see Zootopia... and we LOVED the movie.

And the movie theater, maybe my favorite theater in this area.

We were cleaning out our closet and McKay begged to try on my wedding "princess" dress.  She is adorable!

Updates on Clifton -
He had his parent teacher conference this week and all great things.  I am so happy that Clifton loves school, his teacher, his classmates, and learning.  I hope this continues on each year.  He is doing great and excelling in most areas, just a little shy to speak in front of the whole class.

Updates on McKay -
She can swing all by herself!

Consistently complains she is tired and doesn't feel well.  We were all sick again this week but all of us have gotten over it.  I am not sure if she is just saying it or if she really is not feeling great for the last week or so.  When ever she gets playing she doesn't complain and is happy, so I am assuming it something she says when she is bored.

Updates on Stanley -
Poor kids asthma acted up this week.  It has been a few months since he has had issues with his asthma.  But every time it makes me want to run to the hospital, thankfully we have the medicine we need to take care of it and just have to wait it out.  He was pretty happy through it all though.

Monday the kids were all sick with a little tummy bug, but the sun was shining and we were pretty happy about it.  By Tuesday they were feeling better.
Tuesday was another beautiful day so McKay, Stanley, and I went out.

 Bike ride to the park where Stanley got nice and cozy.

Then hiking some trails.

Clifton had his conference that night and since it was such a great conference we got ice cream after.

Love that boy and love how much he loves school.

Wednesday I got the tummy bug but that didn't hold us back from getting outside in this amazing weather.

I forgive you long and wet winter!
Then we just enjoyed the sun at home...

Thursday more dancing.

Then to the park!

That night we decided to have a family picnic at Manchester beach...

 Stanley has no fears... he ran right to the water and was all about it no matter how cold it was.

A beautiful night.  I love how simple and fun sunshine makes life!

Friday we went to explore the new park in Silverdale.  It's cute but it was busy!

That afternoon we washed the car.

Watching the water go down the drain may have been their favorite part.  Silly kids!

That night we had a family water balloon fight.

Thanks to Aunt Rebecca for getting Clifton quick fill water balloons for his birthday present - he LOVED it.

Saturday and Sunday was general conference and we were all excited to watch.

Saturday while Dad was at the Priesthood session we went out to dinner at Seabeck Pizza.
It was an amazing weekend full of inspiration and the spirit.
