Thanksgiving break started off right!  Volunteering with youth at the Food Bank where we donated the food we collected

Such a fun crew!

Then we needed to get some much needed energy out especially for the young ones.  Trampoline park fun!

Tuesdays fun was Top Golf.  I expected a ton of others to be there on the half off day but it was pretty empty which was really nice.

So nice to have Alex join us too.

Wednesday we decided to explore Sea Quest.  Clifton wanted to stay home and watch World Cup Soccer games.  So he didn't join us.

So many fun animals to feed.  The place was little run down but it was a lot of fun.

Then we had s'mores by our fireplace.

Thanksgiving morning!  Started it off with an indoor 5k which was good cause it was a really rainy day.

I won!  Wasn't my best time but helps when there are only a handful of others running.

Time to cook!

Nice dinner together.
Then some family games...
Adventure Challenge game... Marshmallow fight.
Thanksgiving Rock, Paper, Scissors.

Then we started decorating for Christmas.

Friday we got to go play games with residents from an assisted living center.  We had such a good time.  My kids did well and we all just enjoyed being in each others company.

Love things like this and I hope its something my kids remember and hold dear to them.  Moments like these where we are not thinking about ourselves and maybe doing something uncomfortable to make others happy.  SUCH joy it brings!

The rest of the ay was an easy going art day.

All week I had been planing our youth Thank You dinner.  The youth were encouraged to bring a friend, family, or teacher, someone they are thankful for to dinner.  It turned out wonderfully!  I am so very thankful for the many people in my life and hope they all know that.

Clifton brought his dad as a thank you.  Which I am very thankful for him too.
I brought my friend Caroline as my thank you.
Love my girls!  So thankful for my calling that allowed me to get to know these wonderful ladies.

Disguising our turkeys for the year.  Love that everyone still likes this tradition.

Turned out pretty cute.

Thursday night our RS had a Friendsgiving pie night.  Love all these ladies very much.

Saturday was a cold morning but we had plan our friend to take our family photos.  Despite the cold they turned out great.

The kids did great too.

Sundays...

Sunday bakeday.
