We Sold Our First Home and Now We are Homeless

 Updates on Clifton -
He is struggling with the change of selling our house and not having a home to move into yet.  He seems bored, maybe I am not giving him as much attention cause I am packing and cleaning but he is loves to do anything to make his sister scream and loves to debate with me about everything.

Updates on McKay -
She has struggled the most with the change.  She is having daily and usually multiple full on tantrums.  Poor girl is just struggling with the change.

Updates on Stanley -
He has handled the change the best, which really surprised me.  But I guess he is the third he's use to crazy and not so structured days.
His favorite song is No!
He is too cute.

My week was jammed packed, full of packing and cleaning.  The kids actually did pretty well keeping themselves entertained while I did stuff.
Thank heavens for sunshine.
They also enjoyed "helping".

We did also get out a few times to get a break from packing.
Play group.
Walking Jackson trails and train track.
Some soccer time with friends.
And a much needed ice cream break.

With all this packing I accidentally left my phone on the hood of the car and drove off.
Dang me!

Thursday we had to be out.
It has been an amazing house for us the last 6 years.  We are sad to leave but excited for an eventually bigger house with some more space.  We put an offer on a house and it was accepted.  Saturday was the inspection there are some things that need to be fixed but if they are willing to fix or credit us a little, we should be good.

We are blessed with having the best people in our lives.  Since we are homeless and can't move into a house we are house sitting for until next Friday we had many people offer to help us out.  I wanted to stay around PO so I could be at church on Sunday and in town on the weekend.  So we stayed at the White's house.  They are seriously one of the most giving people I know.
And they have such a fun house.  My kids wanted to stay forever!

I tried to keep active and out of the house so we didn't ruin their beautiful home.  So we hit up the Children's Tacoma's Museum.
We sure love playing and exploring.

Sunday after church the kids and I headed to my in laws to spend the next few days with them while Alex stays with a friend from work in Silverdale.  Here's hoping we have a fun and busy week playing and the time flies by.
We are enjoying being with Grandma and Grandpa (and Uncle Brandon) so far!

Updates on Clifton -
He is a good helper!  Give this kid a job and he is ALL over it.

Updates on McKay -
Being a cute, sassy, and silly girl as usual.

Updates on Stanley -
He is such an active and fearless boy.  He loves to try and skateboard, play any sport that involves a ball, ride on a scooter, anything that means he is moving  And he is pretty good for an 18 month old.
And he sure is silly.  This is how he watches morning cartoons every morning!

Monday we had a BBQ with some of our neighborhood friends to say our goodbyes.  It was a fun night... I sure will miss this wonderful neighborhood.
We have been blessed with great friends.
Ended the night with some neighbor street soccer!

The whole week was full of fun.  I love that I get to play with my kids.
Play group.
Playing with neighbors!

Although we had to get new car brakes and instead of it taking the 45 minutes like they said it took two hours.
Not so fun, but we did our best and played hide and seek while waiting, along with eating more than our fair share of popcorn.

We needed to meet up with Aunt Heater in Tacoma so while waiting to meet her we went into the Petco near by.
They had kittens!!!

On our way home we decided to stop by the splash park in Tacoma.
So much fun!

Manchester beach!
Man we live in a beautiful place.  Life is so so so good!
Just dancing on the beach!

Family street soccer.
Love times like these.

Discovery village play time.
We pretty much had the place to ourselves!
We spent the evening frog catching.  Aren't they cute!

Saturday our ward had a family BBQ and played pioneer games.
I love our ward family!  A great morning.
That evening Alex and I snuck away and went out to dinner with his coworker that just retired and is about to move away.  A wonderful evening with a good friend.  So happy for his new part of life.

Sunday Bakeday probably the last one for maybe a couple weeks while we pack and are in transition.
We love baking but love taking cookies to friends even more.  I love simple family traditions!
