Mormon Prom 2017

Updates on Clifton -
Has still not lost a tooth and tells me all the time he is the ONLY first grader who hasn't lost a tooth.  And I think we found out why.  A tooth started poking up behind his two front (on the bottom) teeth.  To the dentist we go.

Updates on McKay -
Has been wanting to play more with Clifton and they had a good week together.  Maybe things are turning around!

Updates on Stanley -
Oh man he is trouble!  Climbing on everything, getting into everything, loves to make the worlds biggest mess with his food and refuses to sit down while eating.  But he also loves giving big hugs!
His new favorite place to climb, on the kitchen counter.
And his hugs and cuddles make me forget all about his naughtiness!

We had some sun breaks this week and we got out as much as possible when the rain stopped.  We planted some flowers.
Oh and picked some too.  The flowers are helping me survive this horribly wet spring.

We made a cute fairy garden in a beautiful flower pot the previous owners left behind.
Turned out pretty cute!  The kids love it.

Basketball with my homies.

Dinner on the trampoline.
Love these crazies and that we had sun breaks.

We even got one beautiful day and we took advantage of it.
Soccer with some amazing friends.

The days that weren't so nice we had fun inside.  Preschool fun pretending to be butterflies and busting out of our cocoons.
I love preschool days!

Family workouts
Uno style.  Pick a card and whatever color we get we have to do a certain workout move.  The kids loved it and it was quite the workout.

Clifton's soccer game, the other team forfeited so we played parents verses kids.
Such a fun afternoon.

Making a bird house.
We love watching the birds it brings to our deck.

Saturday was Mormon Prom.  Alex was asked to DJ and I went along to be his hype girl :)
We are pretty lucky to have awesome friends that went too.
Great night!
And we got to come home with the most beautiful flowers that they used for the decorations.

Other fun things from the week...
Treasure just chilling in Stanley's vest.  Yes she did this on her own.
Love these boys!  We are blessed with great friends.
Just rocking out.

Easter 2017

Updates on Clifton -
Talks and talks and talks.  He seriously can't help himself from talking so much and about every thing.

Updates on McKay -
Willingly let me do her hair this week.  That never happens, she hates me touching her hair.  Hopefully she will continue to want to have her hair done.

Updates on Stanley -
This boy runs into walls, tables, chairs, etc... all the time.  He has a habit of running without looking where he is going.  I sure hope he figures out so we can stop having all these ouchies.

Alex was out of town all week enjoying the sunshine in Georgia!  So we kept busy.
Monday for FHE we "Egged" a friends house and dyed Easter Eggs.
A fun evening.

Tuesday preschool fun.
Treasure wanted to join in on the fun.

That day was beautiful so that night we got out and played.
Tennis, basketball, and park fun.  I love that the days are getting longer and that we are seeing more sun.  I wish it could be more but I'll take what I can get.

Wednesday we had a Easter Egg Hunt with friends.
Always good to get together with friends.

Thursday we had some sun breaks so I seized the moment and went on a hike with the kiddos.
It was all great until there was a giant puddle on the path that didn't look as deep as we thought.
Yep we were soaking afterwards.

Thursday the sun was shining after school so we decided to go visit the Hobbit house and green house after school.
These boys are such good friends.  I love it!
Smelling the beautiful flowers.

Friday we had a fun night at the school movie night.  Sing is a very cute movie.

Saturday morning the deer were outside.  So we spent the morning feeding them.
We love our deer friends!

Then we went to a friends house for an Easter party.
Such a great party.  They hid over 2,000 eggs and had prizes, face painting, and the Easter Bunny.  Our friends know how to party.

Then on our way home we heard that Jackson Party was doing an Easter party and the trains were going.
Very busy, but fun morning.

Then we came home and made cupcakes for Easter.
McKay picked out what she wanted to do for the cupcakes and they both put it all together.  I think they turned out super cute.

Then Daddy came home!!!!
Yay to Daddy being back.

Sunday was Easter.
Dressed in our best for church.

Then to Grandpa and Grandma Peterson's for more Easter celebrating.
Cousin time is the best.  My kids sure are blessed to have them close by.

Fun things from this week...
Something Clifton wrote at school.  That boy sure thinks his Dad is the world.

Alex is becoming more like his Dad.  It's a good thing I really like his Dad.

Black eye for Stanley :( ran right into Grandma's table which happened to be eye level.  Poor guy!
