Monday the kids didn't have school so we took advantage of a day off and went to the arboretum.  Apparently everyone else had the same idea!  I have never seen it so busy.
Even though it was busy we had a blast.  We had a few extra kids and everyone seemed to have a blast.

Friday was the last day Pee Wee Soccer for Hazen.  It was a lot of fun teaching these cuties.  I think we will do it again in the Spring.

Friday night some awesome ladies went out to the Rodeo to celebrate our friend Heathers birthday.
A great night out wit great people!

Saturday the neighborhood was having a garage sale and the kids thought it would be good time for a bake sale.

They were right!  We sold out.

Sunday we put together our pumpkin heads.

They turned out great.  Love this tradition. I hope it keeps forever and one day my kids will be doing it with their kids.

My weeks to teach preschool.  And boy do I love teaching and I love these cute boys.
We had a blast hammering nails into pumpkins and naming letters on the pumpkin.  Then smashing it to pieces.
Pumpkin walk.
Painting leaves with broccoli.
When the older kids got home they wanted to smash the pumpkin to smaller pieces.

Alex headed to the USMNT game in Austin.  I wanted to go with him but we could not get a sitter on a school night.  So he and his friend went and enjoyed the game.
While we cheered for USA at home.

Saturday we headed to the Bubble Run with friends.
It was really windy so the bubbles weren't as impressive.  But we had a lot of fun and so thankful we had friends to run it with.  McKay ran the whole three miles, there were moments she wanted to quite but she didn't. She was so proud of herself and so was I!

Cowtown Ball

Everyone is happy to be back at school, sports, and normal day to day stuff.  We spent time working on the kids story pumpkins for school.  They turned out pretty cute.  McKay took them to school and she said they other pumpkins must have been done by the parents, no way done by kids.  Haha well I guess its good that I let them do their own thing.  Might not win first place but they are pretty happy.

So glad we got feeling better and over Covid in time to head to the Cowtown Ball.
My friend Kenzie came and did my hair.
It was a really fun night out and for a great cause.

Saturday and Sunday were General conference.  That means lots of yummy food and great talks.

We also did our Haunted Houses.
Love these silly traditions and I am so happy the kids still do too.  I hope we always keep it up.
