February has started which means it time to focus on love!  We started our 14 days of kindness count down.

Heart attack each others doors.
Random act of service to each other.
Treat for the mail lady.  Just a few of the kindness we did this week.  I love this tradition so much!

Normal happenings around here.  Playing with fiends and enjoy warmer weather...
Then the weather dropped and snow happened!  School was canceled so we got out and played.  Third winter here and it has snowed every year.  I think Texas might be a state that gets snow every year now, who would have thought?

We greatly enjoyed it!  Especially Clifton I didn't see him much the two days we had snow.  He [played outside almost all day.  The second day he spent deicing neighbors driveways.

Saturday's family fun we did a cat burglar game.  We set up lasers and they had to get through it without touch the string, if they did we got to spry them with a spray bottle.

Silly game!  The kids loved it and us old people had a hard time getting through without touching the yarn :)

Sadly a pipe burst in our church building Saturday night so we had no church Sunday.
Well we had church at home, which actually was really nice.

Then we made our Love Shacks.

Another fun tradition!

Other fun from the week....
Alex finished his project.

Now to get the kids to hang up there jackets and shoes away!

Got a message from my dad ;). if only it really was him!

More regular happenings.  I teach now my dance class 4 days a week so when I am not teaching I am playing with this guy.
He loves going to the pet store.

Got new ball pit balls for a church activity.  Hazen had to test them out.

Helping me make wheat bread.

Saturday thanks to wonderful friends we moved this playlet from a neighbors house to ours.  Its pretty old but we couldn't pass up a free play set.

Saturday we get to watch Stanley play basketball.  He enjoys it but its hard for me to watch.  He has a hard time focusing enough to keep up.  We have a friend coming and playing with him once a week to try and help, and it paid off this week.  He hustled hard and even got a shot up!  Didn't make it but proud of his effort and trying to focus.

That night we choose another activity out of the adventure book.  Roulegg!

Sunday's are SO long now that we have church at 8:30.  So we need to find activities to keep kiddos entertained and not fighting with each other.  I had extra gum drops form a lesson I taught at church so I put them to work making gum drop structures.  Sunday bakeday!

Silliness from eh week.  Hazen was trying to explain what he wanted to eat for lunch.  HAHA

 Regular week around here...

Trying to do school work with Stanley.  There is never anything I can do to motivate him and it not go like this.  ADHD and dysgraphia is no joke.  I pray daily he learns to manage his anger and hatred towards school work.

Trying to be on my phone less and play more with the kids, especially this guy.  I don't get hime home much longer.

Dress up
Hazen LOVES to cuddle!
Working on letters and writing.

Clifton let everyone know he knows how to cook and can totally make dinner.  So we let him make French toast.
Wasn't as easy as he had thought.  But he did a good job!

Someone can hang with me ;) I wear him out.

Saturday we started our Adventure Challenge Book - Family Edition.  This week the kids chose a lip sync battle.  Parents versus kids, parents totally won.  The videos are too long to post, but it was fun.

Sunday bakeday we made peanut butter balls dipped in chocolate, not pretty but delish!
