Things are starting to get back to normal around here.  Most of our comapny is gone (Grandma is here one more week), kids are back in school, YW is back full swing with activities and meetings, life is going time to get back to doing the things we need to do.
Hazen now has homework and doesn't fight me on it one bit.  He loves feeling like a big kid.

We ddi get to have a little bit of fun and played at the zoo with some friends, it was another lovely winter day.

We didn't get to stay long cause we had to get back to pick up the other kids from school, but we enjoyed the time we did have.

For some reason I planned all the appointments for this week.  Everyone had their dentist appointment.  Hazen was killing me with his silliness.  Stanley had his therapy and then his psychiatrist appointment.  It was a week of appointments, note to self don't o that again.

We also got a hot winter day, in the mid 80's.  Hazen insisted we get the water slide out.  I thought he would freeze.  He did complain he was cold from time to time but played well over an hour in the water.

Not hot enough for me!

We also took a night off to go see the new Puss and Boots movie.

Everyone liked it.

Friday was Grandma's last day with us so we went out in style.  We had a family night Friday, choose an adventure out of the adventure book.  Picked a trade up game... started with something we were willing to part with (a game) and try to trade up with friends.

A few of the kids including Alex were not thrilled on the idea, but we had a hard time getting them to stop.  So much fun and always nice to see our friends.  We ended with roller-skates and Pokemon cards.

Then ended the night with froyo.  Sure fun night!
Clifton got on the skates and gave them a try.  We have some work to do ;)

Monday we got our wiggles out at the trampoline park.

And played outside, again enjoying the nice weather.

Tuesday Stanley turned 8 and he requested to go to an arcade for his birthday.

There were not many people there even on half off Tuesday so we got to play laser tag just us.  Hazen did so well for his first time, stayed by my side but had a lot of fun.

The kids scored big time on the arcade games and got some fun prizes.
Pizza is always a win with Stanley.
Some of us went Putt putt while we were there too.

All in all it was a great day celebrating our Stan the Man.

I thought the kids went back to school on Wednesday, but to my surprised I found out the night before they had Wednesday off.  So we went to get creative.

Then that night we got to take McKay to the temple for the first time.  I have tow kids that can go to the temple, that's crazy!!!

It was a wonderful night!

The next night Grandpa Peterson came into town!
Friday we took Grandpa to see downtown water gardens.

Another nice day.  Alex took my mom and his dad to Lockheed Martin to tour the plant.

Aunt Andrea and Uncle Brandon and Julia came into town Friday night and we played games and caught up on lost time.

Saturday morning was Stanley's baptism.  Everything was working against us, the building is under construction, when I got there the wifi was down (I downloaded music to sing to), and we were working on very little sleep.  But Satan wasn't going to win today.  It was such a beautiful service, the spirit was there and the room was full of people who love and support our Stanley.  It was perfect!

The rest of the ay we just got to enjoy family time.

Played games, tried Swig, made homemade elephant ears, went out to dinner and just enjoyed being with family we haven't seen in a while.  Quick trip with them but such a nice visit.  Now we are talking about taking a trip to Arizona during Spring break.
