Christmas is over... we spent the next day cleaning up Christmas and preparing for Grandma Stanley to come the next day.

Tuesday Grandma S came into town and we are all ready for the fun to begin!

So we headed over to go bowling and play around at the Arcade.

Then we swapped Christmas presents.  I hope she loves the blanket.

The next day we wanted to take advantage of after Christmas sales.  The older boys went with Dad to get new suits and the girls plus Hazen went to find some jeans for McKay (she growing too fast).
It didn't take us long to find what we needed for McKay so we decided to have a little fun with it and headed to Goodwill.  And randomly select our outfits and then we each got to pick one extra fun thing to add to the ensemble.

Grandma's outfit won the show.

Silly day shopping.

Next day we decided to try a new place and hit up Lunar Golf.  It was WAY smaller than I had expected but they let you go through twice, that made up for it.  It was a lot of fun.

Grandma agreed to let us have a night to ourselves while she was here.  We headed to Frisco to check out a fun places I have heard about.  It was so nice to have the day to ourselves and to sleep in the next morning.  So thankful for my Mom.

Tried this cute little milkshake place.  Talk about sugar overload!

I really wanted to try The Putrefy but was disappointed.  It was very very small and not that impressive for how expensive it was.  I thought you could go through each room/theme but you only choose one room at a time and have to pay each time you do a different room/theme.  It was fun BUT not worth the cost and more of a place to hang out and drink which isn't our thing.

PF Changs for dinner.
Lame as it sounds I really wanted to check out Scheel's the worlds largest sporting good store.  It was fun to walk around.  They had lots of things to do while in the store.  Ferris wheel, Duck bowling, practice putting green, arcade, and other things.
Alex found this cute place where we lock our love together forever.  Such a cute place and so sweet of him to find and want to do.

Love this man of mine!  It was a really nice day for a long walk too and that is one of my favorite things to do.

We came home after sleeping and got ready for a full day of New Years Eve fun.

Every hour they opened a fun activity to do.  From Kahoot, to eating dinner, to crafts, to fun games, to watching a movie.  It was a busy and fun way to ring in the new year.  Heres to 2023.

Sunday was a weird day.  Our church flooded again from a frozen pipe so we didn't have church.  Instead we decided to enjoy the beautiful day and have a picnic at the park.

I love the sunshine, sure wish everything around me wasn't brown and ugly, but Ill be happy with the sunshine and warmer weather.
