Updates on Clifton -
Had a good week.  Our neighbor was getting rid of his kids old golf clubs and thought Clifton might enjoy them.  And he was totally right.  Also McKay's sweet teacher who is out recovering from surgery sent Clifton Sounders goodies from their last game.  There are so many wonderful people in the world.  They sure made him feel loved.

Updates on McKay -
Still my silly sassy girl.

Updates on Stanley -
This boy will hold his silverware in one hand and shovel the food in his mouth with his other hand.

Monday morning Alex left for California for a work trip.  But we weren't too mad because we were getting beautiful sunny weather this week.
That morning we got up early and prepared a nice breakfast and decorations for Sunnyslope's amazing staff.
 Sometimes I can be crafty.
Then I had a doctors appointment.
Doctor Stanley helped with the check up.
Stanley was so good running around with me all morning so we went out to play.
Lunch, ice cream, and then playing at the park.
He played hard!

That night we got Clifton's cardboard box car ready to race for tomorrow Cub Scouts meeting.
Of course McKay and Stanley wanted to make a car too.
They turned out cute.  Definitely kid made ;)

The next night we got to test their cars out.
Pit stop crew
Fun night.

The rest of the week we enjoyed the sunshine.  Ate outside...
 Spotted the cute animal babies
Joined Clifton and McKay for lunch.
 Playground trips with friends
Water balloon baseball.
Dinner at the lake with friends trying out our new kayak
Now to find another kayak at a good price.  SO much fun!

Friday we got to celebrate with our friends and find out if they are having a boy or girl.
It's a girl!  So exciting.

That night Alex came home.  Saturday we headed to Portland for Tallyn's Baptism.
Our anniversary was Friday, we couldn't think of a better way you celebrate than going to the Portland temple where we were sealed together 11 years ago.
Thanks to my mom for watching the kids we got to enjoy time in the temple.  Felt so good to be back at my temple.
Then on our way home we stopped at the new Golden Coral in Vancouver with Grandma and Grandpa.
Yum!

Other fun from the week...
Oh Stanley... he tried to poor his own bowl of cereal.
Bubble face McKay.

Updates on Clifton -
Got the Rising Star award at school.  Although he isn't giving us a smile he was so excited.  He is a great student and tries really hard to do his best.  We couldn't ask for more.

Updates on McKay -
Got her dance costume for her first recital and she is over the moon about it.  Counting down the days till her recital.

Updates on Stanley -
Poor guy is struggling big time with allergies.  Non stop runny nose and watery eyes.  It's that time of year.

This week I was still trying to recover from Bronchitis but had more energy and the sun was shining.
Got an exercise in for the first time in a week.  It wasn't much and my lungs didn't love it but getting moving again felt good and my little walking buddy is the cutest.

Monday night for FHE we played games with balloons.
 Ballon races.
And knocking over cup.

This week was full of errands trying to get ready for the first ever Sunnyslope Carnival.  But any chance we got to get outside and play we did that.  Lots of park time this week.
And we got out to play as a family as much as possible too.
Street hockey!
Baseball.
Just enjoying the beauty that Spring brings.

Thursday we got to have a lunch with Randi for Lil Saints stuff.
It was nice to get together with her and talk business stuff too.  Stanley is getting pretty good at being my errand partner.

Saturday was the big day!  Sunnyslope's first ever Spring Carnival Fundraiser.
So much preparation and time went into this event.  I couldn't believe that it all came together so well.  The weather was cooperating, tons of people came (way more than expected), and it was so much fun.  I cannot thank everyone who donated their time, food, donations, and more for this event.  Our community is amazing.  With everyone coming together we put together a great event and it brought in more money than expected for the PTA.  Of course there are things that could be altered or done better for next year but for the first ever it was a huge hit.
Alex is amazing and took the kids to the carnival while I ran things.  They said they had a blast!  What a great man I have.  He never complains and is always supportive with all the many things I take on.

After a full day at the school setting up, running, and taking down I am surprised I had energy to go onto the next activity especially with still trying to kick this sickness.  It must have been all the adrenaline.  Next was teaching swing dancing to the youth.
It was so great to dance the night away.  I will always have energy to dance with this guy.

Sunday was a relaxing day to recover from Saturday's full day.
A nice day at church and then just hanging out at home together.

Updates on Clifton -
Got sick Saturday night.  The cold finally got him and he had a fever as well.  Luckily his was short lived after a rest day at home Sunday.

Updates on McKay -
Somehow has managed not to get the cold that has been going around.

Updates on Stanley -
Is obsessed with band-aids.  Anytime something hurts or he gets a little scratch he will go get the band-aids and insist I put one on.  He has 5 bandaids on now.  Silly boy!
I can't remember what scratch or ouchy this was but that face!

Sunday it hit me hard that I was officially sick.  I slept most of the day after church hoping to feel better.
But it only got worse.  We spent most of the week like this.  This cold was kicking my booty.  Then Alex got it too, so we were both out.  Alex seemed to bounce back faster so I went into the doctors and found out I had bronchitis.  But all they could give me was Sudafed and an inhaler.
Thank heavens Stanley was extra cuddly this week and didn't mind just hanging out at home doing not much.  He wasn't feeling great for a couple days either which seemed to slow him down a little.
However taking a nap with him wasn't working.  He insisted he take a nap with me, but Treasure and him had other plans.  Silly kiddo!

The inhaler helped clear out some gunk and I was feeling well enough to get moving a little after a few days.
So we get out to play for a little.  Walking in the rain and made boats to race.  It was nice to have some energy back.

Friday was spirit day at school.  We got spirit yes we do!  We love Sunnyslope.
I still had no voice and coughing up a lung, but had energy and things that needed to be done at school.
Like getting pizza for Clifton's class who read the most minutes of the 2nd and 3rd grade classes.  Stanley sure doesn't mind being a PTA kid sometimes.

Saturday was the Port Orchard day of service.  I really wanted to go to this especially cause one of the projects was at the kids new school they will be going to next year.
The kids did great and had a lot of fun even though we got soaking wet and filthy.  I am so glad we had the opportunity to serve, but boy it whipped me out.  Still trying to recover, I would like it to be done now.  My belly and my bladder are not enjoying this coughing and the exhaustion.

After much needed bath and down time the kids had a primary activity.  Drive in movie fun...
They were to make cars out of cardboard boxes to park in and watch a movie.  Since I haven't been feeling well I didn't round up boxes so we decorated laundry baskets.
They had a lot of fun with friends at the activity.
