Color Run 2017

Updates on Clifton -
Loving the soccer clinic and sad that it came to an end.  And his Saturday soccer is taking a break this summer as well so he is going to be missing his soccer.

Updates on McKay -
Says the silliest things and keeps us giggling!  And has sweet dance moves, she is my dancing partner.

Updates on Stanley -
Lots and lots of time outs for this boy lately.  Hitting, screaming, throwing things, being a 2 year old for sure.

Monday was another full day of soccer.  Pee Wee in the morning and Soccer Clinic that night.
Clifton got the MVP cup that night and was over the moon abut it!

Tuesday Stanley busted his lip open playing on the trampoline.  He accidentally bumped McKay's head with his mouth.
Blood was everywhere!  Clifton was out there with him and he yelled to let me know and though it wasn't funny at the moment.  Looking back it is kind of funny.  He yelled, "blood, there is blood and lots of it.  And he has no teeth!"  No worries his teeth are fine the blood covered them up so he thought they fell out.  We called the doctors and they said there is no reason to bring him in it should recover on it's own.

Although his was in pain we took the opportunity if a night together.  Alex's meeting got changed to another day so we had a night together.
 S'mores!
Alex is pretty serious about his s'mores.
The crackers and chocolate hurt his mouth but the marshmallows was soft enough so he was a happy guy.

Wednesday was the last day of Pee Wee Soccer.
Such a fun group of kiddos and season.

And that night was the last night of the Soccer Clinic.
And Clifton's team won the tournament!  Another great group of kids.

The next day Stanley's lip was pretty fat.
Poor guy!

Daddy had a meeting and the rain was coming down so we decided to do some face painting for fun.
Silly kids!

Friday I got to help at Clifton's school during field day.
More face painting fun for us.

Then after field day we set up for the school luau that night.
I had so much fun dancing the night away with my kiddos.

She's got some sweet moves and ain't afraid to dance.  I LOVE it!

Saturday was our annual Sinclair View Color Run.
 Before!
After.  So much fun!
Such a great group of friends to run with.  We love our friends!

After a much needed shower I meet up with Randi and we shoveled 5 yards of gravel for the Lil Saints Soccer shed to be built on.
There is a big hill we didn't really want to go up and down so we made a ramp.  Ya it did really work but it was a great idea and we are pretty proud of our contraption any who.
FYI - 5 yards of gravel is about 10,000 pounds.  Yep we were sore afterwards.

Then the kids and I jumped on the car and headed to Tacoma to meet up with Alex's family for a fathers day picnic.
Nobody expected rain:( but we were still happy to get together.  Stanley was excited about that cupcake :).

Sunday was Father's day.  And we got the best father around!
We all just love Daddy.  He is so much fun, hard working, handsome, smart and so much more!

Sunday bakeday...
We tried making healthy cookies out of banana, honey, oats, whole wheat flour, and chocolate chips, but we didn't really like them.  Darn, why can't there be a yummy healthy treat.  We are on a mission to find some.

Soccer and More Soccer

Updates on Clifton -
Has another loose tooth.

Updates on McKay -
We started tracking summer reading and McKay interest in reading has blossomed.  She begs to read each day.  I love it!

Updates on Stanley -
Loves to yell out "Stop it McKay!"  Even when she isn't doing anything.  Brothers... they love driving their sisters insane.

Monday was a very fun and full day of soccer.  We couldn't have asked for better weather.
Ladder drills with the little ones.
Then Clifton gets a turn, as we started a two week soccer clinic.
A very great and tiring day.

Tuesday was a fun day with friends.  Preschool in our friends club house.
Then water balloons and BBQ with more friends for dinner.

Wednesday was more soccer but we got to celebrate our little friends birthday between soccer practices.
Fun day!

This week we had many deer friends visit.  Some were cute little babies frolicking around.
Another one came to visit while the boys were on the trampoline.
Clifton tried very hard to get her to eat out of his hands.  She got close but never came close enough.  We love our deers!

Saturday Clifton had a soccer game and won.  Then we had a BBQ with friends of ours that Alex works with in his calling at church.
They brought a shaved ice machine for some tasty treats.

That night we headed over to Mullenix where we play Lil Saints soccer and cleared a spot for a shed that we are going to build to keep our equipment.
I really love working with Randi and having more soccer in my life.  It's always a good time when we get together even if it means we have to work.

Sunday was a nice relaxing day.  The kids watched squirrels play for a long time (who needs tv when you have nature).
And Stanley had to test out my new garage sale find.

Memorial Day

Updates on Clifton -
Finally lost his first tooth.  It has been hardly hanging on for a while now.  And this mean mom doesn't care for the tooth fairy.  He asked me if the tooth fairy was real.  I said well what do you think.  He said no I don't think it's real.  So I said yep you're right.  He still wanted me to sneak in and leave him a quarter.  So I did do that!

Updates on McKay -
Is getting really good with numbers.  She loves for me to ask her to add two numbers together.

Updates on Stanley -
He has two molars on the bottom coming in and sure is grumpy and not sleeping well.

Monday was Memorial Day.  We took advantage of the day off and spent all day playing.  First we went to the Veteran's Cemetery.  Last year we put flags out and loved doing it.  So we made it a tradition and went again.
Such a great way to start the holiday.

Then a trip to the zoo with friends.
So much fun.  The polar bears were out wrestling and it was amazing.  They are huge!

Then to another friends house for lunch on their dock.
Such a beautiful place to live.  And so much fun playing in the water.

Squeezed in a short nap for Stanley and headed over to a park to celebrate our friends 60th birthday.
We love you President Wiest!

Then I ran out with my friend to go paddle boarding.
So beautiful and peaceful out on the water watching the sun set.  And such great company.  I am sure super lucky to have lots of friends that want to play and explore with me.  A wonderful crazy busy day!

The rest of the week was full of lots of sports.  Tried out floor hockey and basketball with friends and really enjoyed them.
Taking walks and exploring new trails in our neighborhood.
I love exploring with this guys.

And Pee Wee soccer is going great. Lots of fun playing with the kids and often staying after to play at the park.
Where we got to see the world's friendliest ferret.

Shopping for new toys with their money they earned at the bake sale.
So many options!

Friday Alex's mom came up to watch our kids again.  Seriously can't thank her enough for her help.  So Alex and I could got to a Ma and Pa campout for trek coming up.
I am so excited to help at the trek again.  And this campout got me even more excited to meet our "family" and trek with them.

Once we got home Saturday we got all cleaned up and ready for our friends birthday ball.
We clean up pretty nice.
So much fun celebrating our friends Samantha and Joe.  They sure know how to throw a party.  Hands down it was fancier than my wedding reception.   We are pretty lucky to call them our friends.
We danced and laughed the night away.  Great night!

Sunday we finally bribed Clifton into pulling his tooth out.
And it came out to easily.  Happy boy about his tooth coming out.

Fun  things from this week...
Daddy being naughty and playing cookie face with pancakes, at dinner time.

Got to see this cute little bambi deer and his mommy!  LOVE this so very much.  its been almost a year in our neighborhood and I am still in love with all the deer.

Being silly with Snapchat.
