Updates on Clifton -
We were told he got to go to the state spelling bee so he has been studying but we found out this week he doesn't get to go.  He was pretty said about it, but we are still so dang proud of him!

Updates on McKay -
She is still baking away.
She can be the sweetest girl sometimes.  Things like these remind me that I am doing ok at this parenting thing ;). She has been working hard on extra chores tp earn money to buy Clifton a present for his birthday.

Updates on Stanley -
It has been a really rough year trying to get things figured out for Stanley.  Lots of fails, crying, yelling, frustration, medication and really not gotten any where.  BUT he has found a love for baseball.  I was really hesitant to sign him up because baseball is not a fast pace game.  He is showing me that he loves it.  Paying attention, partaking, and trying.  It makes my mommy heart happy to see he has found something he wants to put energy into.  Here's hoping that it continues.

Updates on Hazen -
He's a mommy boy through and through. Always with me, jumping on me when I am working out, always wants me to out him to bed, change his diaper, fill up his sippy, everything has to be mom.  Its exhausting but I sure do enjoy being loved by him.  He is my little buddy!

More great weather so we got our body chalk/paint out which means water fun too.

Monday night we had a paint nite.  The older kids asked to do it again.
They turned out pretty good too.

For YM/YW the week the YM out on glow in the dark kickball.  It was a hit, lots of fun.

Play date with friends!

Then we had no games on Saturday so we got to go cheer our friends on at their soccer game.  And of course play after the game.

Lots of baking for Sunday bakeday!  It was 3/14 Pi Day so I made chicken pot pie and the kids helped cut the numbers out of the crust.

Then the kids helped make and decorate Shamrock cookies.
I think they turned out great especially cause I thought I had a shamrock cookie cuter but didn't so we made it work using a small heart cookie cutter and a knife.  Not too shabby!

Clifton and his friend trying the challenge.  Clifton fell on his face, haha!

Updates on Clifton -

Soccer season has started again.  We are both very happy about it.  And happy to be back with his team from last year again. Yay for Saturday morning games and green grass.

Updates on McKay -
She is baking, baking, baking.  And doing pretty good all by herself.  But its not good for my waistline ;)

Updates on Stanley -

This week was dress up week at school.  One day was dress for your future career.  I asked him what he wanted to be when he grows up and to my surprise he said "Pizza Guy".  I thought about giving him different ideas to choose from but decided to let him do him.  And he was thrilled to go to school all dressed up.  He's a super cute pizza guy!

Update on Hazen -

He is my dancing boy.  Oh and we just love it.  He hears a song he likes and he just has to move.  It is so cute.  He also like to have me record him dancing so he can watch the video after.  He loves robots so a song about robots is for sure to get him moving.

He is seriously so dang cute and keeps us all smiling.  And got some good moves.

Tuesday was Dr. Seuss's birthday so we did a couple activities.
Listened to the Oobleck book and then made oobleck.

And a Cat in the Hat craft.

Weather this week was pretty nice and spring is so close... So Hazen and I are starting to get out on walks more.

Saturday was national Oreo day so for Sunday bakeday we made air fried Oreos.
YUM!

There is videos going around about women being able to do something and men can't.  So I thought I would give it a try with Alex.  He had no idea what we were doing and was very suspicious.  He cracks me up, if he just gave it a try he would have fell on his face like all the other videos.

Monday school was canceled cause they were lots of repairs still needed to be done from the storm.  Our poor schools had pipes burst and flooding.  So we took advantage of the beautiful weather and went to the park with friends.

Which also meant Ashley and Callie could come help show me how to do chocolate covered strawberries for the youth activity the next day.
So blessed to have beautiful, talented and fun friends like Ashley.

That night we got to get out and celebrate Kenzies birthday at the Cheesecake Factory.  I don't love eating out but I did love these asian wraps.  SO GOOD!

A nice ladies night out.

Tuesday was hot!  we went from -1 to 81 degrees in a week!  Craziness.  From bundled up to play in the snow to little clothing playing in the sprinkler.
That night we had an awesome youth activity.  We played Battle of the Sexes.  I sure do enjoy the youth.

Stanley finally gets to have his baseball season.
He did great and honestly loves it.  I hope he keeps loving it and we have found his thing.
While he practiced we enjoyed the beautiful evening!  I think we forgive Texas for the bad week.

McKay is on a baking kick.  She wanted to make sugar cookie flowers this time.
They turned out pretty cute, now to stop me from eating them all!

Hazen got a new hair cut and looking like such a big boy.  I honestly wish I could freeze time.  He is such a joy in our family.

Alex has been wanting to move more during the day.  Now that he has been working from home he sits a lot more.  So he built a tray to go on the treadmill so he can work and walk during the day.
Pretty proud of him.

We decided we needed more Easter decorations so we crafted.
One day we won't decorate with kids crafts but that day will be a sad day.

Saturday started like normal but Stanley decided to keep it interesting.  He says he was sitting on the couch and fell but I am assuming he was standing and feel.  He landed on my weight rack.
Luckily it wasn't too deep so they could glue it!

Needed an activity to keep busy but not crazy.  Fruit snack towers for the win.
Clifton built the tallest.

Oatmeal bars for Sunday bakeday.  Another great week!
