Its been a few very busy weeks, so it was nice to kind of have less to do this week.  Sport drop off, school drop offs and pick ups and then after school sports is taking up moist of my time.  I'm pretty an uber driver who doesn't get paid.  But we are getting everyone where they need.
Wednesday I got to go out with some friends to Top Golf during school and enjoyed being kidless.

Clifton's first 8th grade football game (really scrimmage).  Let the season begin!

Saturday, McKay had been asking to do a garage and bake sale.  The kids cleaned out their rooms and had lots of clothes, toys and random things to sell.  I suggested since it was a lot of odd and end things that we have a dollar sale.  Everything was a dollar.  Since this was the last Saturday before soccer starts and the weekend madness begins we had the sale that day.
They kids did great and earned 100$.  The quickly wanted to go spend it at Five Below.

Sunday bakeday.  Glad he is still cool enough to lick the mixer with me.

First full week of school and the kids handled it like champs.  Hazen didn't want me to walk him to the door anymore and wanted to walk out of school without me.  It was cute to see Stanley and Have holding hands  on their way out of school.
McKay sent this adorable message while at school and it melted my heart.

Got to have a late birthday lunch for our friend.
Then Wednesday night I got to pick up Mechelle and Emma from the airport.  My brother didn't come but his wife loves me ;)
They joined my for my Thursday workout!  Then we went to go check out the new Meow Wolf museum.  It was weird and fun.

We had a lot of fun explore each room and secret passage.

So thankful for my friend that was willing to pick up my littles from school so I cold play.  Then she even took them out to get ice cream.  She's the best!  My kids were thrilled.

The next day they came and played volleyball with all my lovely friends.  Emma fit right in!

After we headed to Texas Spa Castle.  Our friend recommended it so we had to bring her along as well.

Then we got some massages.
Dinner time Alex and I took them out for some real Texas BBQ and walk the Stockyards.

Always fun to be a tourist in our own town and to be with family.
Of course the weather was horrible while they were here.  Too hot to do anything outside.  SO we played at Main Event.  Tried their escape rooms, shuffle board and the older kids did the obstacle course.

It's so nice to have family in town and for the kids to be around them and get to know them better.  It's been a while since they have seen them.

We sure loved having them in Texas.  Can't wait to see them again in December when we get to go visit them.

We finally got some rain, very short but man I will take anything.  It has been sooooo hot and dry but humid here.  It hasn't been my favorite.  But this rain made everyone happy!  I just sat outside and smelled the yummy wet pavement and soaked in the cooler temps even if it only lasted a little.

The kids seemed to really enjoy it as well.  Sometimes they play well together and usually when they can be outside and it isn't wicked hot.  So come on Texas work with me!

Back home and soaking up all the time with the kids before they head back to school.  Lots and lots of snuggles with Hazen.
Girl time with McKay.
Gear pick up for Clifton and then we explored their new school.  Clifton missed the open house while we were in California so we took our own tour after gear pick up.  Its an amazing school!

School has begun!

6th grade - middle school!
Kindergarten!
3rd grade!
8th grade - middle school!  How did this happen.  Seriously I blinked.
Dropped them off and then cried a little.  I am so happy for them to all be in school and even have some more free time, but it's been 13 years that I have had a buddy by my side.  It feels so weird and a little sad to come home alone.

The days filled up quick though and really had not a lot of time alone.  Thankful for friends who kept my company.
Finally went to the Barbie movie.

Paddle boarding!
Friday day dates with my best friend.  I think I can get used to this!

Saturday we had a back to school bash party at the gym.  Mixed my dance class with a step class.  It was fun mash up!

My twin!
Love what I do and the people I get to be with.
