Water Fun

Updates on Clifton -
This week Clifton went to the fridge opened it, got the chocolate milk, and poured it into a cup ALL BY HIMSELF.  There was a little bit of a mess but he was so proud of himself and so was I! He even got a straw out:)
Clifton has been real excited to learn lately.  So I am running with it and we have been working on writing our letters.

Updates on McKay -
She loves music.  She is always singing or dancing.  She even tells everyone around her to dance and will not take no for an answer!

For FHE we went to see Turbo.
It was a cute movie.

This week we started a co-op preschool with Clifton and his new friend Baylee.  Clifton was super excited and so was I.  We had a blast and I am so blessed to be able to stay home with my kids and teach them.
If you want I started a blog about Clifton's preschool - http://cliftonspreschool.blogspot.com.  Feel free to follow the blog and get ideas on what we do.

Another beautiful week and lots of fun in the water and sun.
Washing their car!

That afternoon our new friends took us over to the water fountains.
Took the foot ferry over.  Always fun to do!
 She is so beautiful!
We had a lot of fun splashing and playing.

Silverdale parade :)
We had a fun morning watching fire trucks, motorcycles, dogs, etc march by.

Saturday our primary had earned a water party.  I took Clifton along with me to join in on the fun.
He had fun!  He got a little tired before it was over but still enjoyed it.
We played reverse dunk tank.  If the kids hit the target they got to dump a bucket over my head and a few other wonderful volunteers.  It was a fun party.  This week I got called to be primary president and I am so excited to stay in primary and learn/grow more.  There is such a wonderful spirit in primary and I love the children of our ward so very much.

Beautiful Weather Equals Fun!

Updates on Clifton -
After a lot of thought I have decided to do an at home preschool with Clifton and have a friend who has a three year old who wants to co-op.  I am so super excited!!!!  And so is Clifton:)

Updates on McKay -
Here two bottom canines are poking through.
She is using two-three word sentences.  She is my little talker.  Which is real nice that she has words she can use.  Problem is she often forgets she has words and screams instead:/

We had beautiful weather all week:)  So we had a ton of fun playing outside!
 Bean bag toss
Blowing bubbles and bubble beards:)
Water fun!
Friday we took the foot ferry over to bremerton and planned on playing in the water fountains but it did not warm up enough yet.  So we got ice cream instead:)

Washing the car after daddy got it dirty on his biking trip.

Saturday we were able to go to the Sounder's game!
We got free scarves!!!!  And my favorite player Yedlin (defender) scored his first goal!  We tied but it was still a good game.  We love our Sounders!!!!
Random picture of Batman McKay!

Another great week at the Peterson's!!!!

Another Mud Run!

Updates on Clifton -
His stuttering has now become over pronouncing each letter in the word.  It sure is silly and he speaks real slow because of it.
Being the silly cute boy he is!

Updates on McKay -
She finally got her top two canine teeth.  She was quite grumpy and had a hard time sleeping.  Now for the bottom two to come in:/

We had fun in the nice weather this week.  Had some hot days and some cooler days.  The hot days we played in the water and had some popsicles!
McKay really does not want to have anything to do with the water:/
This is as close as she would get! And that only happened for a little.
Soccer fun!
My mother helper this summer:)  Love having a helper and so do the kids!
Using up the rest of the sparklers.
 Look mom, flowers!
We took tons of walks this week.  I love when they hold hands:)

Saturday my sister in law invited me to join her in another mud run.  Of course I jumped at it:)
We dressed up as 80's chicks!
 We got pretty muddy!
Then we had fun vandalizing her husbands car.  Sorry Brandon!  We had fun doing it.

That evening I cleaned up real well and went to the temple with my hubby.
It was a great temple trip.  We did sealings and I really enjoyed hearing the words and promises I made to my husband years ago.  The man doing the sealing turned out to be Alex's cousin once removed.  It is a small world:)

Another great week!
