Updates on Clifton -
He can be the sweetest boy ever.  This week he really wanted to come to dinner and be able to answer our daily question of what we did good today.  One day he used his money he earned and bought popcorn at school (he hates popcorn) and brought it home for McKay and Daddy because he knows they like it.
So sweet.  And he wants to help with Stanley SO bad all the time so I let him change his diaper.
Of course Stanley stayed still for Clifton (which he never does for me).

Updates on McKay -
Oh she wants to be like her brother so badly.  So she had to take a turn changing Stanley's diaper too.
Again Stanley laid still the whole time.

Updates on Stanley -
He is super attached to a blue and white fuzzy blanket.
It's pretty cute!
He is starting to communicate - he says wow, ball, Mom, and Dad.  He also smacks his lips when he wants to eat.  I know I should teach him how to sign eat but I think it's cute how he asks for food.

Monday there was no school and we were planning on getting out and doing something fun especially because we had Evan over too.  However we left Alex's car at church Sunday on accident and he had to take the van to work.  Luckily it was a beautiful day!
Isn't he just the cutest!
We spent the morning playing outside.
We sure love when we get to have Evan over.  He will pretty much always be apart of our family.
Love these three!
Then we walked to the park.

For FHE activity we put together our new bunk bed. The kids were over the moon about the new beds.
We are all very happy with the change.

This week was actually a laid back stay at home week.
Lots of play dates.
Baking with McKay.
Preschool fun.

Friday night Clifton's school had a movie night.
Minions with friends.

Saturday morning we got to play as a family at Tacoma Children's Museum.
A fun day together.

Pacific Science Center

Updates on Clifton -
He has learned how to snap and snaps away all day long.  He is quite proud of his new skill.

Updates on McKay -
She is loving play doh.  She got a ton of play doh and play doh toys for her birthday and Christmas.  She plays almost the whole time Stanley naps.

Updates on Stanley -
Finally he has more teeth poking out.  Only one of his top front teeth and one on the left of the front tooth.  So he kind of looks like a hillbilly but a cute one :)  It makes us laugh.
He has also started only taking one nap, which I am A-OK with, but the transition is real tough.

Monday we had friends come over for dinner and joined us for FHE.
Making smoothies for dessert.
For lesson we talked about the Iron Rod.  We read Lehi's dream this last week in the scriptures and the kids had lots of questions so we demonstrated the purpose of the Iron Rod.

This week was a simple week at home...
Doing crafts with McKay.  I loved making pot holders when I was little.  I may have enjoyed this more than McKay did.
Stanley got a gift card for his birthday to DQ so we decided to use it.
At home date night with this handsome man, Ant Man movie.  I really enjoyed it.
Alex got to go help at the Bishop's Store House.
And trying to keep my one year old from killing himself.  He is mobile and into everything... This is my broken crock pot :(

Playing soccer indoors.

Saturday we had Alex the whole day (no meetings) so we went out to play.  I got a membership to Pacific Science Center and Alex hasn't been since he was a kid, so to Seattle we went.
Ferry ride is one of the best things about where we live!  Clifton sure loves Seattle and gets so excited every time he sees the space needle.

This was Stanley's first time at the PSC too.  He approved!
McKay and Clifton holding a cockroach.  Gross :/
The mirrors happened to be our favorite part of this trip.

After playing we went over to Swedish Hospital where Alex and my sweet niece, Julia was in the PICU.  We were so sad that she was there but happy to be able to visit with them for a little.  Praying hard for that sweet girl.

Sunday we went over to Grandma and Grandpa Peterson's to celebrate Dec/Jan birthdays and boy there were a lot of birthdays those months.  Two of my babies!
McKay picked cookies for her dessert and of course wanted to make them.
Chocolate chip cookies and pink snickerdoodles.
My kids sure are spoiled by Alex's wonderful family!  A great Sunday, we missed the "other" Peterson's.  But pray that Julia will be out and healthy soon.

Updates on Clifton -
He loves being back at school and working on his numbers.  During free time he found some subtraction and addition worksheets and worked on them.  Then brought some home so he could practice.  I love that he loves numbers and learning.  Hope he keeps this up.

Updates on McKay -
This girl loves cooking and it is rubbing off on me.  She is making me a better mom.  She always wants to cook or bake with me so I am trying to be a better cook.    And trying to make sure we have healthy options and take the time to teach her.

Updates on Stanley -
He had his one year old doctors appointment.  He is slowly growing, but growing.  He is 18 pounds even, putting him in the 6th percentile.  His height has taken a jump to 29 inches putting him in the 19th percentile. Healthy and happy.  We are still working on his asthma attacks but the doctor and I have made plans to hopefully get us through each attack.  Very blessed to have a good doctor who understands and is willing to work with us.  She did say the one concern she has is making sure he doesn't kill himself.  Because he is that mobile and crazy :).  Yep I don't make calm babies and I will take the blame on that one.  I don't like being still for long either.
McKay reading to Stanley while we wait for the doctor.

This week has been a hard week.  I was sick with a cold the first half of the week and then had an emergency root canal Wednesday.   My body hated the Vicodin  making it hard to get through the pain and to recover, but I recovered and then I got an ear infection.  Finally Saturday I was feeling almost 100%.  Thank goodness, for doctors/dentist, medicine, and my husband who willing took care of everything while I was out.

Even though it was a rough week we managed to have some fun.
Baking with McKay.  Though I learned I should not bake while taking Vicodin :)  I almost burnt the house down by placing the oven mitt in the oven.  Thankfully I noticed the smell before it got too bad.
Just having fun around the house.
Stanley being oh so helpful while I do the dishes.
McKay missing her brother after the long winter break together.  Yep she is holding a picture of Clifton. She let me know she misses Clifton.  Which really made me laugh because they tend to not get along, but this week they actually got along quite well.  Maybe she realized he is a good friend.
Then she realized she has a brother at home she can play with.  They sat watching birds for a while.  It was very cute!

Friday our good friends, the Whites, invited us over for the night.
A super fun night!  I sure love my friends.

Saturday we kind of a lazy day.  We went to Costco together and then hit up the Pet Smart.  Hours of entertainment for my no pet kids.
One day we will have a pet or two.  One day!

Then Alex and I got to go on a date and saw the new Star Wars.

Sunday was another nice day of church and spending time together as family.
I am said to say I lost almost every time.  I guess I must be the Old Maid.
