Updates on Clifton -
Signed Clifton up for fall soccer with the same team.  Sure hoping it stays open and they can play the whole season.  We sire got lucky with the team he is on. Good coaches and great people.

Updates on McKay -
Loves doing make up and picks the brightest boldest colors to use.  It's fun to watch her be creative.

Updates on Stanley -
We are really really struggling with him.  He is good as long as he has a ton of space to run free and ild, like. swimming pool, fun park, ocean, etc... but at home or in a confined place or a place he has to sit he is so hard.  He doesn't like sitting and he can't keep his hands off people.  He also loves to give the meanest faces when I talk to him, like roll his eyes, stick out his tongue and talk back.  It's so hard to be patient. We need to change something or find something that will help with him.

Updates on Hazen -
He has been having a hard time going to bed at night and it's been a long week of late nights.  So we decided to cut his nap in half and it worked.  But he is a little grumpy when we wake him up.  sad that nap time is inly an hour, but happy that he goes down at night.

The county just announced that kids cannot go back to school in person.  So we are doing online.  With Stanley that pretty much seems impossible.  His first year!  They said until sept 28th but I don't see anything changing to make kids going in person happen.  We are going to give it a try and  if its too hard and they extend it I think I'll pull them all out and do home school.  Heres to doing everything I can to make it a fun year.

We played hard this week and had a lot of fun!

We explored Dallas Illusion Museum.  We had the place to ourselves and it was fun even if we had to wear masks.
Expensive for what you get but we had fun and lucky two were free.
Then we stopped by a couple Dallas historic statues.
We played in water.
Face/body painted each other and theirselves.
Then we rinsed it all off in the sprinkler.

One day the temperature cooled down a little and the clouds were out so we hit our favorite park.
We love feeding the turtles
Had a great turn out for my class!

Friday was lake day!
Lots of fun.  We had fish nippling at us which freaked me out at first!  It was going after my mole and even made me bleed a little.

Saturday Stanley's friend had a birthday party.  We decided to go and had a blast.
Although I am exhausted and my back aches from trying to keep three kids upright.

We had friends come over for dinner and set up all our water toys for the kids to run around in.  They played outside for hours and the adults could chat.  It ws so nice.  I failed to get any pictures though.
We did make frozen s'mores for treats.  I love summer nights in Washington roasting masrhmellows but its too hot here so we made these.  Pretty good!
My friend made these cute earrings for me and I just love them.  What a sweet thing to do!

I love the sunflowers that grow wild here.  They may be considered weeds but we went and picked some for me.

Sunday baked we had a cupcake war.  Boys vs girls and Stanley was the judge.
Girls
Boys.
Boys won this time but we will get them next time.

Other fun from the week...

Cat snuggles!

My cute workout buddy.

Turner Falls, Oklahoma

I have lagged behind again and can't remember any details of things for the kids this week.

We had a fun and busy week.
Lots of time spent at the pool with friends.
Working out with our friends everyday (been such a blessing to have friends to workout with and the kids can play).
Then I took the kids peach picking.
Such a fun adventure!  We picked way too many peaches but they look and smell so yummy.
First thing we did with the peaches was make yummy peach popsicles.

Friday we took a family adventure.  First stop donuts for breakfast.
Turner Falls in Davis, Oklahoma.
The water was the coolest water we have been in for a while.
The falls were fun to explore.  True fact... it is Oklahoma's largest falls.
Then we explored stone castles built in 1920.
And hiked to the top of the mountain.  Its been a minute since we have had mountains to hike.  Pretty view.
Then out favorite part of the trip, swimming in Blue hole does stream from the falls.  So much fun.  Stanley was by far the bravest and in heaven here.
Hazen even jumped off the diving board!  He's brave too and pretty good in water.
Then we had. relaxing movie night.

Saturday the kids and I went to explore a new splash pad and park.
Our favorite part was the trails.  You walked around and found different statues of animals that live near by.
While we were gone Alex painted our front door to add a pop of color!
I love it!
And spent the evening playing with a new water toy.

Sunday it was our wards turn to go to sacrament.  This time Alex and I took turns taking the older kids.
That was so much better.  So nice to have a quiet meeting and see familiar faces again.

Then we made some peach cheesecake.
Yum!

Other fun from the week.  We just love our cats.
Sleeping with his tongue out.
We all love Captain Cuddles but Hazen probably loves him the most.  It's so cute!
