Monday Hazen had surgery to fix is circumcision.  We have had to reschedule this at least 3 times because of coined so we are happy its finally happening.
He was a tropper!
Waking up wasn't his favorite thing but he was happy to get a popsicle and ride in a fire truck wagon.  No to cuddle and recover.

Tuesday we put together a murder mystery dinner.  All went well except one pie down, but dent worried it landed on the lid so we could still eat most of it!

It was kind of chaos but I think they had fun.

The youth had been collecting food/supplies for Community Link Food Bank and Tuesday was the last day to collect.  We were trying to break last years record of 570lbs and we did!

Hazen and I took it in the next day and it was 920 pounds plus we age some to a couple families in need in our ward.  So proud of the youth!  This is what the holiday season is all about.

We disguised our Turkey's this week.

They turned our super cute.  Stanley is getting so much better at coloring.

Which I need to share... Stanley was diagnosed with dysgraphia.  He has a hard time writing and coloring but he is working SO hard and I can see big improvements.  So blessed to have staff and teachers in Stanley's corner.

Saturday I taped up my legs so good and prayed hard that I would be able to keep moving.  My legs have been struggling with pulled hamstring and pain.  Which didn't allow me to train quite like I'd like.  But lots of visits to the chiropractor, tons of icing my leg, and lots of tears later we made it to half marathon day.

So thankful for these wonderful women cheering me on though it all.  I needed them to push me!

And my leg did great!

We finished! And I was able to run the whole time.  My time wasn't were personally I'd like to see it but I have to remember how amazing it is that my body was able to do that after injuries and set backs.
Then to lunch with this beauty to refuel our bodies!  A great morning, just what I needed.
We ended the night with a trip to the movie theater, Clifford was pretty cute.

The next day I ached but seemed pretty normal for what I did.  Still counting my blessings the I did it and didn't re-injure myself.
But my leg obviously didn't love it ;) Bruises for days.

Sunday bakeday we made chocolate hand pies.
The kids loved them.  I thought they were ok.  Could be improved.

It was a nice simple week.  Play Group with friends.
Making cookies for a friends birthday.

Getting together with friends to make Thank you cards for vets and active military.  And yummy treats for a couple vets in our ward.
Always good to remember those who are willing to give their lives for our freedom.

Our thankful tree has gone up!

So much to be thankful for!

Yearly Ladies Turkey Bowl was a success! Love these ladies.

Then fishing time.
McKays form ;)
A great day to be outside.

Sunday bakeday we made Rice Krispy Turkey Legs.
Monday and Tuesday the kids had off from school.  So we went out exploring.  Fossil Rim Wildlife Center.  I was worried the long drive out there and then staying in the car the whole time the kids would get restless, but we all LOVED it!

Except Hazen.  He had fun riding in the car without being buckled but wanted nothing to do with feeding the animals.
On our way back we stopped at Big Rock Park to get our wiggles out.

Tuesday I taught class but this week we are doing my birthday playlist and dancing to songs I grew up with.  And of course we had to dress up, since I was born in the 80's we had to do 80's.
Loved having a full class with people I love!
A sweet friend made this beautiful cake!
Then I took the kids to Top Golf but it was closed due to mechanical errors.  So we tried Big Shots.

That night for youth activity we celebrated Dia De Los Muertos.  The girls brought stories and pictures of ancestors to share.  We got our faces painted and ate yummy food!

Wednesday was my birthday.  Alex got everyone to school while I slept in.  Then I was spoiled all day by friends and family.  Felt loved.
Alex and the kids got me knew soccer shoes.

It was also my turn to teach preschool.
Love these kids!

Halloween candy pancakes.  We got so much candy this year!
Lockheed Martin gave us tickets to the Commanders Classic game, Army vs Air Force.  It was my first college football game and it was fun.

Then we were asked if we wanted to go out flying with friends.  We have some cool friends which means we get to do cool things.

It was pretty cool and a beautiful day.  Stanley had the biggest smile on his face after.  Totally made his day.

Sunday bakeday we made Halloween Candy cookies.  Can you tell we have too much candy!
