Alex headed out of town this week for work.  Also his first week of summer break for seminary.  So excited to see him more often, after this work trip.
Monday night we got to attend Clifton's NJHS induction ceremony.  So proud of Clifton and his hard work.  Excited fro hime to learn and grow in this program.

Then its Commissioner cup week!  So more soccer, but just for Clifton.
Friday we had our last Pee Wee session.  I am a little sad that I won't have anymore kids to do this with, but loved every minute I got to be apart of these little peoples lives.
A storm rolled in and soccer practice got canceled.  so we had an impromptu date night toes Gaurdian of the Galaxy, somehow someone snuck in on our date.  Haha love that silly boy.  He said he would even sit in a different row if we wanted alone time, ha!  Don't worry we let him sit with us.

Sunday we went an visited with friends and enjoyed their farm animals.

Love cool friends that have awesome things.

its been a normal week here.  Always running around but having a little more time since soccer practice is all done for the season.  Wednesday night we decided to scooter over to the school park and enjoy the evening together.

Love simple nights like these.

We will be traveling for Motehrs day so my sweet kids remembered to celebrate me early.  Clifton got me flowers (all his idea) and made me a sweet card.  McKays card was so sweet as well.

Love when they are thoughtful.

Friday morning we headed to Houston for a fun family weekend.

We got there around dinner time.  After dinner and checking into our airbnb we headed to explore a couple places.  The Waterwall and a beautiful park near by.  Its very humid but not too hot.  A perfect night to be out and about.

Saturday we woke up and headed to NASA museum.

We had a fun time exploring.  Hazen lost interest sooner than we wanted but we had fun.
Definitely a place to visit at least once.  I am not sure we had any reason to go back but glad we checked it out.
NASA was close to the bay so we decided since we were so close to go explore the Kemah Boardwalk.

Such a cute boardwalk and town.

Then the real reason we went to Houston!  Our anniversary gift to each other was Sounders tickets.

The game didn't hold Hazen's interest much but everyone else had a blast watching and cheering.  Helps that the Sounders won.  We did have to take a weather break, but so glad it was just a break (about an hour waiting in the concession area for the storm to pass) and the game didn't get canceled.  Then Clifton got a signature from Lidero! He was thrilled.  Morris was close by too but didn't have time to sign his jersey but dud wave and say hi to Clifton.

Then Sunday we went to a local ward in Houston and enjoyed their mothers day program.  Then headed home.  It was a good trip!

Have a fun week planned with the kids.

Play date with friend and Dino digging for the win.

Pinewood derby for Stanley.

Stanley really really wanted to win but also wanted a snake design, ha.  He didn't win overall but did really well and won a few races.  It was a super fun night.

May the 4th be with you fun!

Saw these cute cupcakes at a store close by and had to get them.

Super fun night.

Cinco De Mayo fun.  Piñata and Tacos.

Then aLex and I went on a date to pick out our flower bed.  I am done with planting things and then they die during the winter freeze we keep getting. So we got some planted pots we can bring into the house if needed and then metal plants.

I think it turned out well.  Im happy with it.

McKays last soccer game.
Then team pool party.
Then more pool time with the boys at our neighborhood pool opening day.

That night Alex was asked to DJ the youth dance.  The rain almost ruined all the fun but they decided to move it inside and has fun.  I love seeing him in action!
