Hazen had Kindergarten Round Up!  How is this happening.  I mean I have been excited for this day but how did it come so fast.  And why is it so sad and happy at the same time.

All his siblings wanted to come and show him around the school.  It was quite cute.

McKay got a hair cut.  She does a horrible job taking care if her hair and body so I spent a little more to get her hair done at a nice place that would wash and blow dry out out.  She loved it, and seems like she wants to keep up taking care of her hair now.

Man she is getting so old.

Family fun night... Family Adventure challenge.  We had a couple ideas and chose form one and made a skit.  We did a skit on how not to bake.

Clifton and Stanley were our arms and Alex was the host for our baking show.  It was silly and fun.

Thursday was our 16th anniversary.  We decided to get Sounders tickets to the Houston game and take a little trip to Houston with the kids later next month.  So for today it was simple dinner celebration.
I failed to take a picture at dinner, but I am so thankful for our relationship and that it continues to grow and be wonderful.

Friday I pulled the older two out of school to help volunteer at Special Olympics.  It was pretty disorganized and somehow I ended up with a walkie talkie and running the track and field events.  Once it got going it was soooo much fun and so glad my older helped out.  Hopefully they learned somethings.

Hope to be able to help again at one of these events.

Saturday McKay had a garage sale to earn money for her girls camp.  She has been collecting stuff from friends to sale and we are so thankful for everyone who donated.
She donated her garbage can fundraiser funds to another girl who needed t, so she needed to earn the full 240.  She was nervous she coolant do it but I am thankful the Lord helped teach her a lesson that when we give and help things work out.  We ended up earning 600.  We were able to donate more money to help another girl out.  Then I was able to use the rest of the earning to get little gifts for the girls going to girls camp.  It really was a blessing and miracle that it all worked out.  The weather was looking bad but held off.

Sunday we went on a little walk to look at the wildflowers.  Then they begged to go fishing.  We did and all was well till I caught a turtle and couldn't get the hook out.

Thankfully a nice man next to us had wire cutters and we cut the hook as small as we could and let him free.  Hopefully he will be fine.  We all felt pretty bad that we hurt him, but he is going to be the cool turtle with a nose piercing now.
