Fun with Grandma Stanley

Updates on Clifton -
Struggled a lot this week.  He loves to make his sister mad and to debate.

Updates on McKay -
Has decided she loves to play soccer, except when its hot outside ;)

Updates on Stanley -
He has added so many words to his vocabulary.  And just talking away all day.  Its pretty cute!

My mother decided to came into town last minute late Sunday night.  A good friend of hers passed away and the funeral is the weekend she was planning to come down to help us move.  So she wanted to get some Peterson time in before she starts the school year.

Monday evening we went to Manchester Beach to have a picnic dinner and FHE.
 Love this man of mine!
For FHE we talked about the story in the scriptures about Jesus not casting a stone at the adulterous woman.  We all have sins and cannot cast a stone.  We should not judge and cast stones.  So instead of casting stones at people we threw them in the bay and promised to try not to be judgmental.
Then we played!  I love all the beautiful places around where we live.

Tuesday for play group we hiked down to Anderson Beach.
Where we built a fun wood teepee.
A beautiful morning at the bay.

That night McKay had her first soccer game.
Where she surprised us all.  No meltdowns and she scored two goals.  She has the cutest happy squeal.
So to celebrate we went to get frozen yogurt.  After game tradition!

Wednesday on Grandma's way out of town we went to Boom Shaka with Rebecca, Julia, Charlie, Tracie, Dallin, and Faith.
We love Boom Shaka so much.  We need one closer to us.

Thursday we spent the morning Mini Golfing.
Clifton got a hole in one!
When this girl is happy she is happy, and I love it!
Love this crazy bunch.
Our own Happy Gilmore.  This kid makes me laugh!

Friday we had fun playing at home and the park near by with friends.
 Spray chalk.
Silly kids.

Saturday was the Jamboree for Lil' Saints.
We have the cutest teams!  A super hot and fun day.  Grandma and Grandpa Peterson even came up to cheer the kids on.
Macey also came to help watch the kids that night and was so great at keeping Stanley entertained during games.
He was a fan of her big sunglasses.

That night Alex was DJing at the youth dance.  He has been putting a lot of planning and effort into this event.  So I was excited to get to go and help out.  Thanks to Macey for watching the kids.
The blacklight party didn't disappoint.  We had fun acting like youth again.

Sunday I planned sharing time to talk about modest and thought it would be fun to do a modesty project runway.  And we all had a blast, hopefully they got the message of how important modesty is too.
McKay got to be a fashion model and did a wonderful little spin at the end of the cat walk.
