Memorial Day 2018

Updates on Clifton -
Has grown to love searching topics and writing facts or books about it.  It's mostly about different sports players, but also animals and places. It's about a daily occurrence that hw asks if he can find information about something.   It's fun to see him want to learn new things.

Updates on McKay -
World of Dance started back up and the whole family is excited, but McKay and I are the most excited.  Love that this girl wants to sit and watch dancing with me.

Updates on Stanley -
Loves to ask where.  Even if he knows the answer.  Example... Me - "can you throw this away Stanley?" Stan - "where?" Me "in the garbage."  Stan - "where?" Me -  "where the garbage can always is." Stan - "oh hahaha sorry!"  Such a silly boy!

Memorial Day we got to start the day the best way we could and placed flags at the Veteran's Cemetery.
And Alex's meeting got canceled so we got to have Alex with us the whole day!  So we headed to the zoo after to play.
Such a great morning together.
We wore these guys out!  After some rest we headed to a friends house for a BBQ.  We got to catch up with friends that were visiting. A wonderful night!

Tuesday night Clifton had a recorder concert.
Super cute concert.
Then we headed back to our neighborhood to do a hike for cub scouts.
A nice night for a hike.

Wednesday we got out a rocket Clifton got for his birthday.
Well after 3 tries and fails we decided to wait till Dad got home.
He was able to make it work.  Thank goodness for Dad's!

Thursday I got to be apart of a wonderful experience helping a family in our school community.
Of all the things I have done this year with PTA this one was so special and it meant I got to dress up!

After I got to get together with wonderful ladies for one last adventure with our friend Veronica.
 Hiking.
And s'mores.  A wonderful night.  We will miss Veronica like crazy, not many ladies like her.

Friday morning I had another doctors appointment.
Dr. Stanley helped measure my belly.  Yep it's big!

That night was McKay's Dance pictures.
She was so excited to get dressed in her costume and wear make up.  My goodness she is super cute!
And a picture of Stanley because he insisted on me taking one of him as well.

Then after dance we got busy baking!  Saturday was the neighborhood garage sale and the kids wanted to have a bake sale with it as well.
Cute Cookie Monster cupcakes.  Not quiet Pinterest worthy but totally kid made and cute.
The house smelt soooooo good.

Saturday we got up and moving.  We set up the stuff for our garage sale and the kids got their bake sale ready to go.
We had so many friends stop by, including their Principal Mrs. Fundanet and Clifton's teacher Mrs. Kruse.  They sold completely out.  A successful and fun day!

Other fun things from the week...
Enjoying the nature around us!
