Valentines Day 2020

Updates on Clifton -
The PC class has been working them hard.  He finally has had his first experience with sore muscles.  He was very concerned he had hurt himself.  It kind of made me laugh, the first to many sore muscles.  I am proud of his hard work and love for sports/physical activity.

Updates on McKay -
She asked everyday this week if tomorrow was Valentines Day.  She was very very excited.

Updates on Stanley -
We have been working hard on getting his to color.  He has no interest in coloring or writing and his fine motors are suffering because of it.  But this week we say a change and a desire to actually color.  It's still n to his first choose but doing it without whining is a huge step!

Updates on Hazen -
He has got the talking bug.  Trying more and more to communicate and copies a lot.  Which is dangerous with Stanley around him all the time.  He said "love you", "welcome", "thank you".  They are all still very baby talk but we understand.  His favorite things to say are still mama, (everyone is mama) yay, and no.

Finishing our 14 days if kindness countdown strong...
Paying for the car behind us at a drive thru one of our favorite acts of kindness.
 Making teacher cards and gifts.
Making valentines for Grandparents.

And ending it with my all time favorite Kindness countdown.
Passing out homemade valentines and flowers at an assisted living center.  I just love seeing their smiles when my kids give them high fives, hugs, or even a smile.

The weather has been so up and down this week, cold, sunny and warm, rainy and stormy.  So we tried to make the best of it.
Splashing in puddles.  Even Texas puddles are bigger.
And enjoying the sun!

Valentine's Day
Love my cute Valentines.
I got to help out in Clifton and McKay's class Valentines party.

Then I got one on one time with my handsome Valentine.
We headed out to a family fun center.  Went go karting, played put put golf and won a stuffed toy at the arcade games.  We pretty much had the place to ourselves and enjoyed acting like teens again.

Saturday we had a picnic at Founders Plaza and watched the planes land.  The kids built airplanes before we left so we could test them out there.  The wind was crazy and made for extra fun flying the planes.
Fun outing.  I love exploring with these crazies!

Sunday was a beautiful 80 degree day!  We had to get out and enjoy it.
 We found a waterfall!
 And found some fossils.
The hiking trails are a little more rough here but the older kids love the "obstacles".
