Getting in the holiday spirit the best way I know how! By giving. Asked Gym members to help donate food for NISD snack pack program. They sure came through. I was floored with the donations.
My mom came into town just in time to help with the finishing touches of the project. Some of the gym ladies stayed after and put together 230 packs!!!! NISD was thrilled. As was I. love being able to give and to be able to share that experience with amazing people.
My mom is in town so we took advantage of time alone and snuck out to Austin for some USMNT soccer.
Nice walk through botanical gardens
Lunch!
Then stopped at Dr. Pepper museum in Waco.
On our way out we passed by Waco's Branch Davidian's sight where there was a death of 76 people. We went to Oklahoma Bombing museum earlier this year so felt appropriate to stop by. It was crazy creepy and abandoned but still had some people living there. It was a quick visit!
Saturday was our annual ladies turkey bowl. As usual it was a blast! Great group of ladies and lots of fun.
I LOVE how it turned out. So cute!
Our neighborhood had a Diwali, the Festival of Lights event at our neighborhood park.
We tased food, got some henna, and watched some dances.
Sunday we decided to build a giant fort and watch a show together.
Captain loves to climb ladders and thinks he is king of the fort.
This week Hazen was also complaining of ear pain and not sleeping. We took him in and he has an ear infection. Got him on medicine quickly!
