We had been waiting for this week it seems like for forever.  CRUISING TO MEXCIO!

Drove to Galveston and boarded.  The drive was good, and boarding was easy.  Hazen was started coughing on the drive down though.  He had just got over an ear infection.

The weather really wasn't on our side. Windy, cloudy and cold.  But we were excited to check out the boat.  We even spotted like 15 dolphins as we were leaving dock!

Pretty awesome boat. First night we even got in to do some ice skating.

And played in a game show!  Yep that's Stanley up there and he answered the question right.

But that night things took a turn.  Hazen's cough got bad and he was up all night in pain.  I knew it was an ear infection, just knew it.  So I knew he needed medicine.  As soon as the doctors on the boat opened Hazen and I headed down to see the doctor.  A few hundred dollars later they gave us ear infection medicine.  And had given his albuterol to help with the cough they think it's due to allergies.  Oh also took a Covid test.  Scared the heck out of me but passed they test ;). But because he has a cough even though the doctors don't think he is contagious at all he couldn't go to the kids play area.  Kind of threw a kink in our plans.  Plus the weather wasn't great.  Cloudy, rainy, really windy and cold.  Most of the outdoor activities were closed.  So we were stuck inside, not my favorite thing.  We did get in some windy mini golf.

Tried to stay busy inside, but their game room wasn't really stocked well.  We made due while Alex and Hazen napped.  Stanley greatly enjoyed being at the kids area.
That night was a fancy dinner.  We got all dolled dup to eat.

Then enjoyed a show.
It was a very very long day.  I was running on a couple hours of sleep and just exhausted.  Looking forward to being in Mexico and praying for better weather.

The prayers worked.  The weather was supposed to be rainy but it cleared up and had sun both days in Mexico.  Till we left port again and the rain started!

The first day at Cozumel we went to Playa Mia and played at the beach all day.  IT WAS AN AWESOME DAY!
That night we enjoyed a great show.
Clifton and I snuck away for some late night ice cream.
Then Alex and I went dancing after we put the kids to bed.
Which someone later on during the cruise saw us at a show and said "you guys are the couple!"  They busted out their phone and showed a recording of us dancing.  Said everyone around them was so impressed by our dancing :). Haha I guess we are famous now.

The next day was another day at port.  If I could go back in time I would have switched our excursions because we did not feel like we had long enough time a this one.  And had to be back in time for the boat to leave.  BUT this was our favorite day.

We walked the ruins, checked out the seal show, looked at the dolphins, played at the beach and snorkeled.  We really wished we had more time to snorkel.  Especially cause Alex and I had to take turns staying with the littles.

Then we loaded back on the boat and headed back to sea. But the weather was still holding on and nice enough to enjoy some time outside on the boat dock, finally!

Tried out all the slides!

More ice cream.  And more golfing.  Hazen couldn't get enough golfing.

Clifton and I rock climbed and both made it to the top, although I made it faster ;)
All dressed up in our matching outfits.
Enjoyed another show and headed to bed.

Next day was nice so we got enjoy the outside swimming.

Then checked out the arcade.

Also tried out the silent disco party!  So weird and so fun.

Ice skating show!
Hazen still trying to recover form an ear infection and cough, but was seriously such a tropper.  He went along with us on all the shows and fun.  Happy as could be.  It caught up to him at the ice skating show, poor guy fell asleep.  I didn't mind the extra snuggles.

Found shuttle board the last day and had a blast playing.

Saturday we got back to Galveston and headed home.  Finally home Saturday evening!  It was a super fun trip.  Glad we did it and think we made some core memories.  But I don't think cruising is for me.  I don't like to be confined.  I'd rather have spent my time in Mexico the whole time.  The thing that got me the most was I don't feel like the staff and employees are treated well and here we are spoiling ourselves and shoving our faces with food.
