Updates on Clifton -
Struggles with finding things to do that aren't with Alex or I.  We love playing with him but we can't all the time and it's only going to get harder when the baby gets here.  Hoping this is a phase too and he can learn how to entertain himself when needed.

Updates on McKay -
Loves her hip hop class!  So we officially signed her up and her first recital will be in June!

Updates on Stanley -
I have noticed that between PTA, callings, working out, and life I don't give Stanley a ton of attention.  I am thinking this is why he has been so naughty lately.  So I am going to try and do more things with Stanley instead of telling him to wait or when I'm done (but I am never done with everything).  I need to make more time for him and this is the only time it will be him and I.  Here's hoping his naughtiness improves and we make good memories together.  This week has already improved with him.

We got caught by both people we heart attacked this year so I'm ok to share.
For FHE we wrote out our hearts and McKay and Clifton are getting old enough to not need our help. This was my favorite heart of them all from McKay.  "You're good at kisses"  Haha cute!

It was a great week for Washington.  Cold but sunshine!!!
This boy is meant to be free and in the wild!
Finally trying out Clifton's sling rockets he got at Christmas.
My favorite hiking buddy.

We spent all the free time we had finishing up our half bathroom and I am in love.
The before... gah it was sooooo ugly!
After!  I use to make sure that door was always shut now I find myself telling the kids it is pretty now so leave the door open after you are done.

Friday was spirit day at school.  Dress as your favorite book character.  I helped at the assembly that morning and popcorn that afternoon so I dressed up too.
Ballet Cat - she's my spirit animal!
Fancy Nancy - no better fit for that girl.
Dog Man.

Saturday we got up and got to work finishing up our master bathroom.
I had a great helper.  We worked for a few hours and then decided to get outside and enjoy the weather.

We went out adventuring which is my favorite thing to do and I feel we haven't got to do it as much with all that's going on.  So my heart was extra happy.
I heard a rumor last summer that there was a waterfall trail in Bremerton.  I have been meaning to go find it, so we finally did.  It took some hunting to figure out where it was but as soon as we got there and had lots of people to ask which trail to take, we found it.  And it didn't disappoint!  We will be going back again.  I don't miss many things from growing up in Portland but I do miss the many great waterfall/view hikes we had close by, so I was beyond happy to find a waterfall close by.

Then Alex and I got to escape away with friends to try out Fujiyama's Japanese steak house. It was a lot of fun I have never been to a restaurant like that and the food was good!
Nice!

Sunday after church we spent the afternoon putting together Valentine's.
McKay's cute butterflies.
Clifton's emoji cards and his Valentine's box.
He loved how it turned out.

Other fun things from the week...
Found Stanley asleep like this at nap time!  Haha that can't be comfortable.

Updates on Clifton -
Sure think he is a cool dude.  He wanted to do his own hair and I decided to allow him.  Mohawk was his choice.  Silly boy!

Updates on McKay -
Has been very helpful lately and asking to help clean the dishes.  She tells me that she loves to clean. Alright little lady you can take on more cleaning ;)

Updates on Stanley -
Oh this boy!  He must be feeling my exhaustion and thinking that means it's time to get a way with a lot more.  His brother did his own hair for school and left the gel open.  A couple minutes later Stanley comes out of the bathroom and says "Look Mom!"
Into the shower he went.

Monday night was my last competitive soccer game for about a year.  Thank goodness I make cute babies.
And it is time.  It is very frustrating to not be able to keep up and play the way I want to.  But I will miss it very much.

This week was another week full of meetings and things to get done but I very much enjoyed the times we just got to be together and play.
Stanley and I took a rainy walk and loved every minute of it.
Pizza night with my cute helper.

Thursday nights have been crazy again with coed volleyball starting up.
It was a huge turn out.  Lots of youth and lots of fun.  I wish we had things like this when I was growing up.  I am glad that the youth get to have this and to be apart of it.

Friday morning was Donuts for Dad!
Aren't they cute!  (Clifton didn't want to take a picture)  Another successful PTA event, it was crazy and stressful, but it happened and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves.

Friday McKay had her first hip hop class and there couldn't be a better fit!

She was so excited and enjoyed it very much.

Saturday the kids and I were busy with two birthday party fun.
We love our friends.

While Alex stayed home and painted the walls.
Then I got to help him finish putting up the accent wall.  Which was a huge hurdle, but we got it up and we LOVE it.  Now to hope it doesn't fall down.

Church can be hard.  Church bench -1.  Stanley - 0.
Poor guy fell backwards and hit his head on the bench infant of him.

Super bowl Sunday was spent making football cookies and watching the game.

More fun from the week...
People claim the twos are terrible but I would say they got nothing on three's.  As we are waiting (forever) at the pharmacy I said the medicine was for Stanley Peterson.  And Stanley said, "Stanley Peterson?" Clifton said "Yep you are Stanley Peterson." Which lead to this.... "I don't want to be Stanley Peterson!"
This is how I get back at him for all his crazy tantrums ;)  But really he hates waking up from nap time and would sleep all afternoon and not sleep at night time if I let him.  It's a process to wake him up everyday.

Updates on Clifton -
He found our old journal between him and I and insisted we start writing back and forth to each other.  I am so glad he found it and wanted to start back up again.  I love having a cute note on my pillow every night!

Updates on McKay -
I signed her up for Hip Hop next Friday will be her first class and she has told everyone she has meet or anyone who will listen and is counting down the days.

Updates on Stanley -
Got a little cold and has been wheezy all week.  We had to take him in and get more medicine for his inhaler.  So sad to have that back out again.

This was a hard week for me.  I had a lot of migraines, things to get done, and the kids seemed grouchier than normal.
FHE ended with a 10 minute sit still and be quiet punishment :/

We said goodbye to Clifton's basketball season.  It has been such a good season and he has grown so much.  We were blessed with a great team and amazing coaches.
Sad for it to end!

Wednesday McKay snuck into the PTA office to have lunch with me.
She saw my car sitting outside before heading to lunch and asked her teacher if she could see if I was here.  It was a nice surprise!

Stanley and I trying to stay sane with all this rainy weather.

Lots of dice playing...
McKay rolled 5 sixes dice and a five in one roll!  Say what?!? Yep she won that game.

Saturday McKay had a play date and it got very exciting when the power went out.
 The girls played with legos.
Stanley and I cuddled in bed and watched Clifton and Dad play.
The boys played foosball.

Then Alex and I got to work.
Alex had to repair a lot of holes in the wall that happened because I got a little too aggressive with the wall paper and he got texture on the wall.  Walls are ready for paint!
I went to work sanding the trim in the bathroom.  We are going to test out painting the old trim and see if we like it.  Thus far I love how much nicer it looks sanded.  And it was a satisfying project!  I can't wait to have this bathroom finished. It will be the first fully remodeled room in our house.  We've done stuff here and there but nothing complete like this.

We then snuck out without the kids for a little dinner.
A much needed escape away.  Alex planned it and was a smart man, he finally got me some pork fried rice (I have been wanting some for like 15 weeks now but I was trying to avoid getting fat, but it was soooooo good).

Then that night McKay and I headed to a friends birthday party at a gymnastics center.
Such a fun night with friends.

Sunday bakeday we made some Valentines goodies.  And they were good!
