Denver Trip

Updates on Clifton -
Started basketball and is excited about it.

Updates on McKay -
Started tap dancing and is over the moon about it.  She got cute glittery tap shoes for Christmas and has been waiting to try them out.

Updates on Stanley -
Loves singing the ABC'S at the top of his lungs.

Updates on Hazen -
He sure thinks it is funny to hit the spoon when I am trying to feed him.
He is on the move.
I laid him down on his mat in the middle of the living room and went to the bathroom.  When I got done this is what was waiting for me.  "I found you!"
My goodness he is so cute!

Sunday and Monday Alex, Hazen and I were in Denver.
One kid parent again, seems so much easier this time ;)
Apparently I mumble.  The airport thought this is what I said for Hazen's name.  Pretty sure this is his new nickname, it needs to be said with a Spanish accent, haha!

Denver wasn't quite what I was expecting.  The mountains aren't as close as I expected and there wasn't nearly as much snow as I thought there would be.  But it still did have some beauty.  AND the sun was so bright!
While Alex was at work Hazen and I explored.
 One mile above sea level!
After Alex got done at work we went to see the Denver temple.
I had to play in the little snow they had.  I was disappointed with the lack of snowmen in everyones yard.
Loving the hotel life!
A huge thanks to my mother in law for watching the other three munchkins and all those who helped with play dates while we were gone.

Tuesday night for cub scouts we had our marble shoot.

Since we were gone Sunday we had our family night Wednesday.  We discussed light and the importance in it.  The had to draw a simple picture without lights on and one with lights on to see how much harder a simple task can be without lights.
We then talked about ways we can be a light to others.  Then the kids took turns sharing their testimonies.  It was a wonderful night!

After Clifton's basketball practice we decided to stop and get frozen yogurt.
I love these little outings with my crazies.

Friday I finally got a hair cut!
It had been a year since I have done anything with it.  I am so happy with it.

That night my Grandpa Hazen passed away.
Boy I sure love my Grandpa and have had great memories with him.  Memories like him teaching me how to fox trot in the kitchen, teaching me how to do my taxes, camping trips, fishing together, chasing down a deer we hit to make sure it was ok, encouraging me to educate myself and be the best me.  Hands down my favorite memories is when he meet Baby Hazen.  He was so happy that we had named our son after him.  I will miss him tremendously!

Saturday we had planned to go to the temple and I couldn't have needed it more.
Just what my soul needed.

After our temple trip McKay went to a fun birthday party.  I got to stay and help pamper the cute girls.

Sunday we talked about baptism and the gift of the Holy Ghost.  We cleaned coins and then talked about the power of fire.

Other things from the week...
Saw a lot of my deer friends this week.  It never gets old!

I had an allergic reaction I think to fish oil!  I had these bumps from head to toe.
Updates on Clifton -
He is so very helpful with Hazen and its the cutest relationship.  He wakes up and gets Hazen every morning without me asking.  He holds him while I get up and get moving and get breakfast going.  I loved it!

Updates on McKay -
She said this week "I cannot wait to be a mom!"  How cute is she!  First she will wait  ;) but I am glad she wants to be a mom.

Updates on Stanley -
Waking up at the crack of dawn every morning and then so grumpy after dinner.  Sleep child sleep!

Updates on Hazen -
Makes the cutest growling sounds.  He is our little Gremlin.  Alex says I  need to stop feeding him after midnight, haha.

Monday is family fun night.  The kids have been begging to do more minute to win it games.
Such a fun night.  Nights like these are the best!

January is my least favorite month in Washington but this year it hasn't been so bad.  The sun has been shining more.
I love the sunny foggy mornings.

We had a pretty regular week, preschool, cub scouts, school, etc.  But there was some fun additional things.
I forgot to put on Hazens jacket as I ran out the door to the bus stop.  Good thing I had an extra baggy sweater on.
Brother bath time just for fun.
The excitement when McKay and Clifton get home.
Filling our days with fun projects.
Silly shenanigans while out running errands.

Early Sunday Alex headed out to Colorado.  Hazen and I joined him on his quick trip.  Alex's mom was willing to hang with the others kids.

Updates on Clifton -
He hates hugs and is often a stinker, but this week he made my mommy heart so happy.  MaKay said a boy kissed her on the bus and called her mean name because she didn't want to kiss him.  The next day Clifton said he sat next to his sister to make sure that boy didn't bug her again.  Yep these moments make it worth it!

Updates on McKay -
Had a little incident on the bus.  I don't love them taking the bus but with Hazen's sleep schedule I need them to ride the bus home.  She handled it real well and told me and the driver.  Clifton made sure to sit close to her the rest of the week.

Updates on Stanley -
Older kids headed back to school this week.  Stanley and I got extra time together and I think it was needed.

Updates on Hazen -
Working on getting a schedule down.
It is hard work!

This week was back to the school grind.  We had some nice weather and some rainy weather but tried to get out as much as possible.
 Exploring the new park.
Splashing in puddles.

This is our house everyday.  POKEMON everything.  But hey they usually play happily together when they play Pokemon stuff.
It is pretty cute that they all love it so much and have that in common.

Spending quality time with Stanley while the older kids are at school and Hazen sleeps.
He is such a good kid, especially when he is by himself ;)

2019 goal is to add 5 new healthy recipes that we all like and to add more vegetables to our diet.
Starting the year off great with a new recipes that has lots of veggies in it!

Saturday morning McKay does her homework.  Clifton doesn't have any this year. But he loves homework and asks for me to print worksheets for him.
Homework for the win!

Sunday our dear friend Faith messaged me to ask if McKay wanted to twin with her at church today.
The sweetest girls.  Sure made McKays day.

We are loving the new Come Follow Me Program.  Sundays have become a wonderful day at home.
If the get 15 stickers we will go to Mana (their request not mine) and they did it.
