October has been an absolute crazy month.  I need to be better at keeping up with these posts.

This week one of our favorite people was coming to Fort Worth for work and he was kind enough to make time to stop by and spend the evening with us.

We are big fans of Jim and the whole family was happy to see him.

For YW this week we did a self defense class with the relief society.  It was a lot of fun!

And so needed for ever woman.

Thursday family night we made Haunted Houses.

They turned out cute.  Love these little traditions.

Friday was half day of school so we took advantage of the extra time and went to the state fair apparently everyone in Texas had the plan too.  It was a fun day but way too busy for me.  I am surprised we didn't lose a kid ;)

Sunday baked we made cute bats for dessert and halloween meat muffins for dinner.

Other fun from the week...

Stanley has a way with girls.  He often gets cute love letters home.  I love it and I love that he has such a big heart and loves easily.
