Monday craft day we did some paint by numbers.

Tuesday trip was to visit Is It Cake? Winners shop in Lewisville, The London Baker.  We liked watching the show as a family and thought it was cool that the winner had a shop close to us.  So we visited the Stitch Witch shop and then since we were out that far stopped at a new to us Mini Golf place.  Glow in the Dark Monster Golf.

It was crazy busy but thankfully the kids did well waiting their turn.

The Stitch Witch was there when we stopped by but was too busy to say hi to visitors.

But we got to see her doing her thang!

And it was a cute shop to visit.  Although we didn't see cupcakes on the menu.  Then we saw someone order them and asked where they saw cupcakes.  I guess you jus have to ask, doh.  Next time we will actually try her cake, but the treats were yummy!

Wednesday we played at the pool with friends.

Thursday morning Clifton and I headed out on a trip to visit our friends in San Diego.  Clifton earned his part of the trip all by himself and I am sure proud of the hard work he put in this summer to make it happen. 

As soon as we landed we headed to SeaWorld!  It was not busy at all.

We had a blast riding rides, watching shows, and just being with our friends.

After dinner we headed down to the bay to relax and enjoy the view.  The boys weren't going to get that wet but somehow came home completely soaked head to toe :) Silly boys!

Then since they were already wet we headed to the pool.  Well the boys played at the pool we hung in the hot tub.

Love that their friendship just picked right back up, didn't skip a beat like they haven't seen each other in years.  Good friends make a world of difference. 

Next day we got up and went on a hike through the slot canyons close by.

Then time fore the beach.  It was not super warm, so I didn't get all the way in.  But we enjoyed combing the beach

Not going to lie, I was freezing.

Then we went and watched hang gliders and took a little hike to see Alicia Key's house.

After we got cleaned up we headed to pick up another friend from the airport.  Love love being back together with these lovely ladies.  They make my soul so happy. It's so good to be in their company.

We had dinner at a yummy restaurant and then headed back.

More exploring and fun.  Went to see the sea lions, tide pools, and the Mormon Battalion.

Then spent the rest of the day at the beach.  The weather was warmer and the sun was out.  It was a great day! And we even had dolphins swim by us.

Beautiful view with beautiful ladies. It was such a nice trip and so good to be back with my favorites.  Love these ladies like family and so privilege to have them in my life.  And that they still keep in touch even after we moved.
